Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll

I'm looking forward to this.

Also, holy fuck at the nudity. I was not expecting any of that.

I list Manson as one of my favourite poets. Also, as that guy with the great imagination and all who's the head behind what might be my favourite movie of all time.

I was only surprised at the nudity because it's on Youtube... Or at least it is on there for now.

That's essentially what I meant.

I'm conflicted. It looks like a vanity project, but it looks like the best kind of vanity project.

It already is better than Burton's movie, but it wont be better than Disney's or Svankmajer's.

Did anybody see Crispen Glover's experimental film? I didn't but this kind of remindds me of that.

Also, chick's hot.

Well this was truly disappointing. Way back when there were only talks of two "Wonderland" films, one by Burton and one by Manson: I could honestly say I was looking forward to what may get churned out. Well Burton's Wonderland came out and I was disappointed to learn that the movie, was in fact exactly like most of Burton's recent works.
I had high hopes this version, could be something along the lines of a Lovecraftian exploration story mixed with aspects of House of Leaves. Instead we're delivered exactly what we had expected, Manson's vision of Carroll's world: which apparently is no different from his non-sensical music videos.

apparently this trailer isn't legit and/or was leaked. Manson posted an ultra pissy myspace blog about it a week or so ago. He's threatening to hurt people but I doubt those flabby arms could do anyone any damage at this point.

This makes me sad, the things people've done to Lewis Carroll.

Anyone else remember the PC Interactive movie of Phantasmagoria? SEVEN CDs of Ultra realistic mayhem (see pic above). Plus, the main character had huge cans, and you got to see them in full 640x480 256 color glory.

The public consumption of material.
While, I am always pleased with the art that I have created, alone or with the great contributions of others, as partners, we never betray the greater goal.

In the situation of my "PHANTASMAGORIA" trailer, involving---Anthony Silva, DP, editor, and screenwriter---and Rudy Coby, Illusionist and Visual Supervisor...as well as, Steven Klein, Benoit Dubois, and Gottfriend Helnwein (and son Cyril).
This trailer was never intended to be 'leaked' and is 100 percent a blasphemy, that the 'so called company' that chose to take credit for anything, other than the fraud of saying that (he) or (they) had any involvement is criminal.

I can assure fans, friends, collaborators... that the days of fucking with Marilyn Manson have ended... and i invite mr. Rob to face me and /or the artists you have raped, face to face.

This isn't a about words anymore. You have 12 hours to submit your apology or you will face more problems than you thought your stealing, lies would create. tik tok.

Did Manson really attempt to sound threatening by quoting Ke$ha?

Indubitably. But still, I doubt this "film" - if it even exists in any kind of feature length form at this point (I suspect it is currently little more than a glorified music video) - is going to see the light of day for quite a while.

I remember Phantasmagoria! I was probably around 12 when I stumbled upon it. I remember being really weirded about the sex and violence, but strangely enough I can't remember any scenes of sex or violence...
