Not Quite the New Twilight Movie Thread.
I was pondering earlier and it dawned on me that these Twilight movies, while not anything I'll ever bother seeing, could actually be much better than the books.
The books being so terrible, that, now, making them into films, gives them a chance to do another edit to them and maybe add or take out things that do or don't work.
Anyways, the reason I bring it up is because I'm watching Panic Room for the first time in years and had forgotten how great a film it was, and the kid in it is the girl in Twilight! (Talk about a downturn in your career, HAW!)
So this thread is really about David Fincher's Panic Room and/or how much of a badass Dwight Yoakam was in it, but you can talk about Twilight if you feel you must.

Even the ending of Panic Room, a total of five minutes was better than all this Twilight Gaga-ness!

well i liked panic room yet i weirdly have a dislike for jodie foster i have no idea why i just cant stand the way she speaks like she is eating her words. but this was an intense movie and i also cant believe the twilight chick was in it.
any way personally i just want to bitch about the twilight ga ga ness as some one else mentioned. its pretty sickening how vampires have been turned into such a franchise. ave been a vampire freak since i was a kid and loved the anita blake series, anne rice chronicles, so the first tym i read twilight i was shocked it was even a best seller. the vampires didnt even have fangs and they shine in the fucking sun. they have made a jonas brothers version of vampires....twilight..its sickening.oh well atleast in all this vampire madness that hit hollywood, the sookie stackhouse books were turned int to a series, Now TRUE BLOOD does vampires justice. its dark, violent and sexy like vampires were meant to be...
I like Jodie Foster well enough I suppose. She does kinda look like her jaw is coming unhinged every time she talks, like a snake.
And she does need to make sure to never, ever quote eminem lyrics at graduation again.

You're neglecting to mention that the Sookie Stackhouse novels are really, really terrible. Like, worse than Twilight.
