I like watching that movie, but I cry every time. The mother looks like my Granny, almost exactly, who died a year ago from Alzheimers. The characters really a lot like her too, having to chase my uncle (her son, obviously) around after he would sell things or get in trouble because of drugs. And the diet pills, my Granny was addicted to those too...she was never really as bad as the movie, but still.

I just realized all the different connections. Weird.
