Music Musts
Alright... I've been expanding my horizons regarding musical interests.
Lately, playing the same songs on my pink ipod whilst slaving over reports at work just isn't keeping me from the boredom, not to mention, the overly obnoxious squawks coming from a few of the women in the other offices.
Therefore, I need some new material. Please Advise.
Any and all musical influences and genres are appreciated.
Look up into the stars and you're gone.
I've been on a big Disturbed kick lately.

“...There are so many ways of being despicable it quite makes one's head spin. But the way to be really despicable is to be contemptuous of other people's pain. You ought to have some apprehension that the man you see before you was once even younger than you are now and arrived at his present wretchedness by imperceptible degrees.”
-James Baldwin
Jamie Woon has been a wonderful discovery for me. His whole album Mirrorwriting is great.

I must have...
Darkside of the Moon
Any Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye and Sade
Some Coltrane,Billie Holiday,Miles Davis,Ray Charles
The Doors' Alabama Song
There's definitely more but these are the basic essentials for me.
Your musicals always confuselate me.
How come?
Just doesn't seem like a band the online Phil persona that I know would listen to.
Or Limp Bizkit, or several others you've listed in the past. Just interesting is all.

To be fair, I really am not a fan of Limp Bizkit. I do think their guitarist, Wes Borland, is amazing. But Fred Durst ruins everything else.
As for Trail of Dead, I love those guys.
The music I most listen to, according to Last.fm, is things like The Replacements, Aphex Twin, Thrice, Alice in Chains, Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, etc.
But I also really like some folk and acoustic stuff.
