Music, Movies, and TV Pointless Announcements
Just watched Paranormal Activity 2 and really enjoyed it, made me jump a few times. Although since it kinda runs parallel to the 1st one it loses a lot of suspense and mystery.

The third one, coming out this year, has the directors of Catfish. Hopefully it might be a franchise worth revisiting.

Damn, I miss this show.
I loved this show. It was one of the few I actually got to watch because it didn't conflict with my stepdad's expansive dvr to do list.
Hahaha, oh, man....
This is why we can't have nice things.

See. It's more of that I'm Everyone's Dad thing...
This is why we can't have nice things.
wasn't sure if that's what you meant or if you were laughing at me.
I don't know if anybody is interested, but here's a pretty good article from the February issue of GQ about what's wrong with the movie industry.
Ugh, this shit again.
So sick of people complaining about this.
"WHY CAN'T EVERY MOVIE BE LIKE CITIZEN KANE OR ONE OF THOSE ARTSY ITALIAN FILMS? WHY CAN'T ALL THESE WEIRD INDEPENDENT FILMS MAKE A BILLION DOLLARS? WHY WHY WHY? THESE GIANT ROBOT MOVIES AND KIDDY FLICKS ARE RUINING MY LIFE!"
Get the fuck over yourself.

So you didn't like the article? lol

You should really read the whole article if you haven't Justin.
Great article find Pete. I really loved how he pointed out each factor as to how Hollywood got to where it's at. And that last line was all worth reading the whole article. I laughed out loud.
I SKIMMED it!

Then you didn't read what he had to say about the complainers! Read it!
Ahaha.
___
I've watched the Mildred Pierce series with Kate Winslet! Pretty depressing, but I think I liked it.

I watched a few of those. It's hard for me to watch mother daughter relationships like that. Also the daughter was a little bitch.
Ugh, I know, I couldn't stand that little twat.
I've got like two dozen Bogart films DVRd right now. Waiting. Calling. I feel like a six year old Sherpa boy staring up K2 for the first time, knowing he's eventually going to have to make the climb, and bursting into tears.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I've been using Netflix to watch old British episodes of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
I don't understand some people's bizarroo logic.
"This Z-grade, no-budget Finnish vampire-western schlockfest from the early 70's is the worst movie I've ever seen... which makes it THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE."
And then they spend a fortune on old posters for it and bootleg DVD copies from Mongolia.

That's why Friday is not the worst song ever.
According to wiki Julia Stiles will play Esther Greenwood in the Bell Jar next year. Hmmmm.
Oh yeah, me and Bloke are totally watching Masters of the Universe right now.
Julia Stiles' character read The Bell Jar in the film 10 things I hate about you.

Urgh what a terrible choice for The Bell Jar. It was bad enough that she was the love interest in Dexter.
They should've just picked Gwyneth Paltrow. She was great in Sylvia.
I watched Snow Cake. A guy (Alan Rickman) gives a young girl a ride and they get in a crash and she dies. He goes to talk to her mum (Sigourney Weaver)about it, but the mother is autistic. He's got his own issues, but that would probably spoil the movie, and I hope I havn't given away too much already.
It's really good. Even bloke watched it, and he isn't into serious movies.

Wendy and I are watching the first three seasons of Heroes.
Damn, I miss this show.
