Okay - seeing as I'm temporarily crippled and all, I'm taking the time to watch all the movies I should have seen but haven't.

So here's everyone's chance to list ten movies they think I should see. Keep in mind I'm using Kazaa to get these, so try to put stuff that might actually be out there and available.

Please stick to the ten, or it'll just get annoying sifting through everything.

Here's a list of some of my favorite movies and a list of a bunch of the stuff I've recently watched, so you can try and figure out something I haven't seen that I oughta...

Feel free to ignore that huge list and just put up whatever you want though... Come on! Help me out! Time to make your impression on avatar-boy. =D

Holy Shit, Wes likes Bad Boy Bubby!!!!!!!!!! You rule, my friend. Ialways knew you had a big sandwich and that made you kinda cool, but now, wow.

Disx, listen to this guy, check that one out. Also:

Persona (good double feature with Mulholland Dr.)
Rosemary's Baby
Dead Ringers
Metal Skin (3rd best Australian film?)
Mystery Train
Deadbeat at Dawn
Day of the Beast
DellaMorte DellAmore (Cememtery Man in the US)
And last, but not least, if you have a lot of time on your hands, watch every episode of Twin Peaks and follow it up with Fire Walk With Me.

Lock, Stock, And Two Smoking Barrels

Anatomie - German Horror film, awesome effects, they disect people still alive and then put them up as museum exhibits.

Alphaville - my favorite French New wave

Transporter - Jason StathamTurkish from Snatch) stars along side a former Taiwanese porn star. Too bad it was not R. Wink If you ever saw the BMW shorts imagine one made into a feature film.

Bambi Meets Godzilla - A classic 2 minute cartoon

The Salton Sea - Val Kilmer's best performance, definitely a film for Chuck fans.

Acid House - Everyone knows trainspotting but no one knows about this Irvine Welsh adaption.

Tape - Strong acting in this one set but engrossing film.

Princess and the Warrior - A more in-depth film by director of Lola Rennt.

Shallow Grave - an effective horror from Scottland. Ewan is in it I believe.

I've seen Lock, Stock and Princess/Warrior, both nice flicks.

Here are a few on my own "too watch" list. Sorry if they're already listed somewhere.
SLC Punk
Acid House
Brazil
Raging Bull
25th Hour
Kalifornia
Roshomon
Mulholland Drive
The Talented Mr. Ripley
Secretary
Serpico
Bullitt
The Untouchables
Mars Attacks!
Mars Attacks! is the only one of those I've seen, so if they suck, you can't blame me. Smile Big

dude, my friend Patrick- who i once posted pics of he and zippo at a 'calling Paul Oakenfold a fag' gig--anyway, Patrick has been drinking with Nicholas Hope-- the guy that WAS bubby- fuck- i love that movie.

and if nothing else, killing your family and cat by wrapping them in plastic-- is worth watching it for.

oh and man-- i dont know if you know Nick Cave... well, he had this band really early on called the 'Birthday Party'- who fucking ruled right--- yeah, the bits in BBB where he is singing in the ministers costume is SO Birthday Party. If you like that flick, youve GOT to get into that band. Its like a rooted incestual Nick Cave story.

*love*

Already into 'em, man. Love the Birthday Party (Nick Cave was included in my post in the homocrush thread, gay me--I mean, yay me) and actually had that same thought when watching Bad Boy Bubby.

Oh yeah, while we're speaking of Nick Cave in movies another good one for disx to watch: Wings of Desire.

I really want to see that, but I haven't, yet. It's not currently available over here in the states and the guy I buy my bootlegs from says his copy is pretty poor quality. looking forward to seeing it. One more great Nick Cave performance: Johnny Suede w/ Brad Pitt. I know now I've gone over ten, but disx should watch this one too.

Also, Wes, since you put BBB and Ghost of Civil Dead as the top two Australian movies, I claimed my recommendation of Metal Skin to be the third best. I don't know if i'd really call it the 3rd best of all time Australian cinema, but it was pretty fuckin' cool. Did you see that one? I had to see it on a boot since it is not available over here, was wondering how well known/ successful it was over in its home country.

Habit. I forgot to mention this one. I know, I'm well past ten. Have you been watching a lot of movies like you promised? What have you seen?

Well, I already had a big list, so I've been getting that done first...

So far the only movies from this thread I've gotten are Raging Bull & Brazil. Got bored of Brazil about half way through and haven't gotten around to watching RB yet.

Haven't seen any of those except Lain. Saw it a long long time ago, great series, indeed. Although, I'm a big fan of Trigun & Cowboy Bebop (before they got played on Cartoon Network... not that I dislike them now, but you know, I was into them before then)... So yeah. Furi Kuri, is also funny as hell and beautiful artwork, imo.

I'm glad you started this cause I've referred to it a few times to see which movies I should look for. I can never remember which ones I wanted to see and now they're (almost) all in one easy to reach spot.
