Movie talk
Yeah I understood it but there were times when he said he wasn't recording but it was all recorded on VHS so it was weird. I really didn't like that one, it was lazy.
I just like it as a compilation. I love Ti West but his was pretty naff.
The vampire one was cool. I'm surprised they didn't tie it all together, that's what i was waiting for. I finally gave up when the batteries to this speaker thing we were using died and i didn't even realize there was supposed to be sound on the movie.
Such a powerful movie. What did you think?
It was indeed powerful. I liked when Schindler is appalled at the thought that he could have saved one more person and he didn't.
The Pianist was tougher, though. We saw that during a History class in high school.
I've never seen The Pianist. I'll have to check it out.
UHF, on the other hand, remains awesome.

I'm watching a movie called Joshua with Sam Rockwell. I love the music...kind of strange to say that but yeah, I can't stop watching it for that reason.
It is an amazing film.

I saw Network, The Chinese Botanist's Daughters and Citizen Kane today.
I've added it to my Instant Queue on netflix. Hopefully I'll get a chance to watch it soon.
I just recently watched the Pianist all the way through and yeah there were a few times I got pretty close to bawling. I remember Schindler's List affecting me more so than the Pianist though. Could be because I was 10 or 11 when I watched it.
I love The Pianist!
The class went silent when the guy in the wheelchair got thrown out the window.
You mean they didn't burst out in laughter?
No, I mean they stopped talking. Do you think a class of highschoolers is able to sit quietly throughout a whole movie?
Watching movies at school is the worst. You're sitting in this uncomfortable chair, people are finding it hard to be quiet, and probably more than half of them don't give a shit.
That's when i napped in American Lit class.
Memories of piling into a dark auditorium with the whole school (at force, by the hands of jerk authority) to watch Schindler's List, and catching a kid seated in front of me fingering his girlfriend up her skirt somewhere in the middle of all the badness. And then the discomfort of being beastly aroused during such a film. I've got a question or two for them, though.
Megan Fox is going to be in the movie about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming out in 2014. Oh well, guess I don't have to see that one then.
Beasts of the Southern Wild is so sweet and it really makes your day. Sad story, basically, but the little girl is amazing as she learns about life.
That's not even the only nail in that coffin for me. They are not even mutants in it. They are aliens from another planet. And it's directed by Michael Bay. And only one of the two creators of TMNT supports the project. I think it was Laird who publicly denounced Bay's alien interpretation.
*snicker*

Teenagers are fucking sick. In high school, I rented Se7en with my boyfriend and half watched but mostly just messed around during all of it. Then I watched it again a few years later and was disgusted with myself.
Never looked at knife strap-ons the same again, huh?
Well after watching it a second time, I can't shake the feeling that there's something... dirty about them...
I keep trying to watch Detachment but getting interrupted for this reason or that.
Someone said the personality of the protagonist was like mine, to an extent.
We went to see Mama last night and it was okay. It wasn't as serious as I was expecting and had a bit of a fairytale vibe going on.
Trailers were better, Dark Skies looks great! When the screen said "From the makers of Insidious and Sinister" me and Rhys went "OOooo oo ooo" like excited chimps, it was kind of embarrassing.
Evil Dead trailer: gah. I will watch it, it's just so unnecessary to remake it and to completely change the kind of film it is? Weird. Looks sort of cringe-worthy too.
I watched 8 1/2 and Seven Samurai today, both long, lovely movies. I'll probably choose something light for the evening or watch a couple of House of Cards episodes.
Going to watch 8MM soon. Hoping it's better than Ronin!
8mm is underrated.
I fooled around during Munich. That's probably my worst. Horror movies don't count.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
I gave my boyfriend a blowjob during Hellraiser.
Sorry,Tmi.
This isn't a movie but it's worse than any of those...
Pawn Stars. I did things during Pawn Stars. I think we were just bored changing channels.
I'm not even in my late 70's.
I may have mentioned thks before, I'm not sure. Who all has seen the trailer for Oz: The Great and Powerful?
It looks really great.

I liked 8MM. 7,5/10
The movie Paul is on telly. I like it, except I'm not that fond of Seth Rogan being the voice of the alien.
I'm going to watch Sin City.
Sorry,Tmi.
I hate you so much right now.
This is why we can't have nice things.
My favorite part of that movie was the music on the DVD menu.
I liked the movie quite a bit. But I just like that song a whole lot more.
Haha is Hellraiser the Pin Head movie?
Yeah. It was a disappointment (the movie obviously).
My favorite part of that movie was the music on the DVD menu.

Awesome music so far. Apparently there's a sequel coming out this year.
It was a great movie, Kurosawa is a talented director, but I felt it was too long.
I loved Sin City and enjoyed The Words, although the ending is a bit ambiguous.
Kurosawa. I just watched The Lower Depths this morning. That guy was so good at telling you life sucks.
I'm watching Beasts of the Southern Wild

Do you like it?
It was intense and beautiful, but a bit slow for my taste.

Yeah, it dragged at times, but I thought it was very optimistic and 'sunny', with all its sad story.
I'm watching Les Mis...I love the story so I'm sitting through this.

The one with the chick - the vampire one? - that one was pretty good.
I think it could have been a good movie, if they tied everything together. If they gave everything a purpose. Kind of how Paranormal Activity is doing now. Everything is connected somehow. It might have worked then. That and if they threw away the web-chat one.
I read online that the web-chat one was supposed to be aliens. And he was her handler. That's why it was repeating.
