Movie talk
Okay _eNdLeSs_MiKe_.
HAHAHA!!!
I mean lqtm.

Hey, Pete and Pete was one of the greatest shows ever. You best show your respect for Rick Gomez.
This was my favorite part in the new muppet movie.

I watched Arizona Dream yesterday. I thought I'd seen it before, but I hadn't. I only knew the soundtrack.
Interested in seeing The Raven. I have a feeling that the movie will be based on "William Wilson."
I saw a review of it that said that that it had potential to be a guilty pleasure, but ends up taking itself way too seriously to be a good comedy and having too odd a premise to be taken seriously.
Sin Nombre was so good. It'll break your heart.
I concur.

I watched Drive. It was good. I don't really get the hype. I mean, it's good. My mind wasn't really that focussed on it though, that may be the problem.
I also watched Friends With Benefits. That was good too. Different good, entertaining.
For those of you who like sci-fi action (high cheese factor) I suggest watching Lockout with Guy Pearce. Or sneak in and watch the first 5 minutes of it. It was pretty silly but for me it was worth all the quips thrown in. I even loved the unformulated ending.
In between watching Battlestar Galactica I've watched a couple of indie movies. One was Splinterheads
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1254696/
and the other was Shades of Ray
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0886531/
I liked them both a bit.

I saw Restless yesterday. It's about a cancer patient (Mia Wasikowska, the girl in Alice in Wonderland) who finds love at a funeral, this other guy that liked to attend random ones, just like her. She's got 3 months to live and basically the movie is about her coping with her imminent death, but she's never sad or worried, and the movie is really well-made.
I'm gonna watch an older one now, Across the Universe, with Evan Rachel Wood.
The Avengers was pretty good, considering I wasn't a fan of Ironman 2, did really pay attention to Thor that much and flat out didn't see Captain America. I did like it though, and I like Loki as a villain a lot. If you go see it, definitely stay for the scene that plays during the credits, but you can leave before the one at the very end of the credits, because it's pointless.

I hope we'll watch I Saw The Devil tonight, buuut nothing has been decided yet. My boyfriend feels like watching Contraband instead.
The following contains NO SPOILERS (in fact no mention of the plot at all)
I've been avoiding this thread because I didn't want to hear anything about the Avengers.
I saw it. It was a step above good.
I rank the movies:
Captain America
Iron Man
Avengers
Thor
Iron Man 2
Incredible Hulk
i very like horror film category, especially about zombies film. I used to watched a lots of zombies films, and i like The walking dead most. It's a long story about zoombies. The film is lively and interseting,attractively...
Good job webbts.
Holy cow! That was Cobie Smulders from How I Met Your Mother in the Avengers? Why didn't I notice?!
Haywire was cool as shit and totally confusing, just like any great Soderbergh film.
Going to go see it at the movies tonight. This better be good!
I almost watched that last weekend. I don't remember what I watched instead, something with Katie Holmes... It was okay.

Was it that kinda but not really scary movie with Guy Pierce where there were little troll critters running around their house? If so, I saw that too.
Yeah, I thought it was okay. There were some tense moments. But really Katie Holmes needs to learn how to play a different character besides the girl from Dawson.
I just watched this movie Funny Games (the American remake) where this family is taken hostage in their vacation home and tortured by a couple of queers in tennis clothes. It was annoying to watch big ol' Tim Roth sit back and let little brat Michael Pitt talk down to him like a bitch while making his wife strip and forcing them to watch NASCAR. I also didn't appreciate the whole "message" about how people just like senseless violence even though I only watched it because Roth said he got traumatized making the movie, due to how much the son reminded him of his real son. But he only said that to make me watch it in the first place, so, who's the jerk now? Jerk.
I have never seen such an accurate synopsis of that movie as I have just now.
Watch Dogtooth instead.
Ugh, why would you recommend that movie to anyone? Maybe its me, but I thought it was horrible.

It was horrible, and way too naked.
It was not horrible. You never see close-up vagina in movies. And the scene where she beats herself in the face with the hand-weight was worth the whole movie. LIKE THE MOVIES I LIKE.
Hahaha!
I usually do like the movies you like. I've watched a couple you've mentioned and enjoyed them. At least I think it was you. Bellflower is a movie that comes to mind, but now that I say that it might've not been you. Eitherway, Dogtooth bites!

I remember someone recommending Bellflower, wasn't me. I want to see it too but i haven't found it yet.
I saw it on Netflix. I recommend it.

Funny Games is awesome. I saw the original first in a film class in school. It's great BECAUSE it pisses you off. Everything that is supposed to happen in a thriller doesn't. AND the ONE bit of violence that IS shown on screen (I won't spoil what) is taken away from you. It pisses you off so GOOD.
Going to go see it at the movies tonight. This better be good!
Nick wins. I enjoyed it.
Thursday night I went to the movie theater and watched This American Life live. It featured David Sedaris and Mike Birbiglia. It was very funny. I hear some theaters will be replaying it for those interested in seeing it. I'll post Mike Birbiglia's part later. I have to go to work.
Man, that's awesome. I'd love to see that.
Oops I forgot to mention the day. It's this Tuesday that they will replay it.
I watched Last Days today. I wasn't very impressed, but I liked the last song (Death to Birth).
I saw it, it was pretty awesome. Those wolves were scary as shit when they were running down that hill in the snow. Good movie.
Please do. Birbiglia's one of my all-time favorites.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
I'm at movie theatre now about to watch The Avengers with my nephews. I've spent $40 on tickets and food and it hasn't even started yet.

Only $40? I went with my mom and buddy to see The Hunger Games last night and I think it was somewhere around $60. Free refills on the popcorn though. We polished off a bag before the movie even started.

2012 movies I wanna see:
The Gangster Squad
Snow White and the Huntsman (previously resisted it, but the trailer looks cool)
Snow White: A Deadly Summer
On The Road
The Raven
Anyone seen Intouchables yet?
Sorry man, came home and crashed.
I had no idea that it was from an album but another favorite part of the night came from Tig Notaro performing this bit almost word for word.
As a side note, at the end of her bit Taylor herself came out and sang to her.

This one is funny because it's a comedy and not a horror movie at all.
