Most Moving Music Composition
What are the most beautiful/moving pieces of music you've ever heard?
For me it's..
Modern:
Classic:
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember... that is the illusion.
I like that piece too but I think it sounds better in C major, rather than D.
Also, how could I forget this. My favourite piece to play of all time:
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember... that is the illusion.
This specific version of this song.
This piece reminds me of summery days in the park, last year.
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember... that is the illusion.

I construct my memories with my present. I am lost, abandoned in the present. I try in vain to rejoin the past: I cannot escape. - Sartre
moonlight sonata is great. it's one of my favorite pieces by him.
i also like vivaldi's four seasons.
Wow, Eddy, that was beautiful!
I have two others that I can truly say are the most moving pieces of music I've ever heard:
I love this SO much. Itzhak Perlman - Theme from Schindler's List.
And this. Pink Martini - Taya Tan. The lyrics are in Japanese, so I don't have any idea what she's saying, but it's incredible.
I really like the Schlinder's List one.
I think a lot of movies have amazing scores.
I think Yann Tiersen is an absolutely incredible musician.
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember... that is the illusion.
Lots of treasures in movie scores.

Zbigniew Piesner makes some glorious music, but i can't find one that i want to link.
godspeed you black emperor!

In roughly five more posts, this thread is going to break everyone's internet once they open it.
What can I say, I'm here to take over the world - one forum at a time.
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember... that is the illusion.
It's from Hannibal but damn if I don't love this.
That track's beautifully haunting, Jack. Hans Zimmer is a great film score composer.
I could listen to this all day, every day..
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember... that is the illusion.
i have so many. Why haven't I come in here before!!!

Oh of course, Clint Mansell! Good call. Here's one of my favourites.

Madame Butterfly.
"Tuffy, you're a Dalek, but only because you're only being kept alive by metal, science and hatred." - ScubaSteve1729
And this (not for the Twilight factor!), although it's way overused! Beautiful piece of music regardless:
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember... that is the illusion.

This, without a doubt.
