hybrid moments and die, die my darling are my two favs. i rmemeber the one night i got real stoned we were all listenning to dig up her bones (on the edge of town) and i rmemeber hearing the wolves howl and freaking out making sure all the doors were locked
In my humble opinion, the Misfits are one of the worst bands I have ever had the displeasure of listening to. Their lead singer has a horrible voice, their guitar riffs are unimaginitve, and their beats/bass lines are repetitive and boring. You could get any four people to get up on stage and dress like them and they could do the same job as them.
The only thing the Misfits have going for them are their name and looks.

well theyre deffinatley love em or hate em. lets not go so far as to call them untalented though. i personally love em, although a lot of their songs are really short
and a lot of them sound the same. Like if a teenage boy who is obsessed with monsters and role playing wrote them.
theyre a themed band. all inspiration comes from halloween and horror movies
Misfits turned into Sam Hain then into something else, the last incarnation got popular, but I can't remember the name.
I agree with Madd. Repetition is a fast way to get to my trash bin. That's why I mentioned how they use simple bass and guitar riffs, cuz they are repititious and I find them boring. But this band does look cool. They remind me of GWAR in some weird way.

Quite a while ago, in fact I just saw one of their cd's in the used section.

Used to love them, haven't listened to them in a while though. They're kind of silly though, and make me think of those skateboards in the 80s you could buy at Toys R Us, with the pictures of the skull and bloody, slimy eyeball, or the excessively grotesque wild animal.
