Too much action in the third movie. The defending Zion-scene was sooooooo long and boring. Damn, that reminded me of Pearl Harbor. Too long, too boring and either there were "I love you-I love you too-Kiss me-Kiss me too"-scenes or "BANG, I WANT TO DIE FOR ZION YEAAAAAAAAH RATATATATATA"-scenes.

So Matrix Revolutions: 4/10 stars

i fucking loved the first one (dunno about now, since i haven't seen it for ages), didn't understand the 2nd one, and fell asleep during the 3rd one. seriously, i swear they couldn't be arsed to write any dialogue for the mid-third of the film, so they thought "oh yeah i know what, let's just stick a big fucking fight scene in, done with a load of computers between a load of, yup, you guessed it, machines". arghh fuckwits. i wish there was just the 1st one. they killed it so badly.

and could neo have been a dopier bastard??? "what does this mean" "what are you trying to do" "why" "where am i" IT'S A SHITE FILM FFS SAKE

and also, why did every fucking thing anyone said in the film have to be so profound and 'meaningful'??? could a simple 'ok' not suffice?

I really liked it.

Maybe just because it is over. Nothing can ever touch the first movie for me. That was my 'Star Wars' experience. I really liked it.

In my opinion Neo was just a way to continue to get the kinks out of the Matrix. This verison of 'The One' helped point out the fatal 'Smith' flaw to the programming.

And now the machines realize that they have to let some of the humans go to keep the Matrix balanced...

A fragile peace against two constantly fighting sides....

Can anyone say: Matrix 4?
This might sound silly, but I think they are leaving the rest of these decisions up to the Matrix MMORPG.

Here's a deconstruction of the Matrix done by Corporatemofo.com

Quote:

(Whether due to the tension of what was obviously intended as an incredibly sad moment, or whether because of the shock of seeing Keanu Reeves actually display emotion, the NYU film students all chose this moment to crack up laughing. Personally, I don't think he was acting. His ex-girlfriend Jennifer Syme, who had delivered their first child stillborn in 1999, died in a car crash in 2001. The man has had enough sadness in his life.)

I personally highly disliked the film. Not only did I have to take a piss so bad that you can't even imagine, but it was also one of the most dissapointing sequels I have watched in a long time. So much in the second and thired movie was just unnecessary (train scene with Rama Kandra, anyone? The Twins, anyone?) I mean, at least the second movie had the tension of "wow what the fuck is going to happen!???!!!!??!!" I felt nothing watching the third film. Except of the course, the fact that I had to pee.

ok this movie sucked compared to the other two.

What was with this Neo being an angel or some shit, yeah when it all goes gold and he dies, cross on his chest and the little metal guys he is sitting on look like wings there, dontcha think? Fucking stupid. I liked the shooting of the sentinals tho, that was sweet a great bit of the movie.

It was alright. I didn't fall for the hype before Reloaded and I didn't get excited about this, so both movies for me were enjoyable. I wasn't expecting something amazing, just an entertaining action flick. I think they took themselves too seriously with the last two. (Just listen to the score, way too dramatic.) But yeah... Still pretty fun. And say what you will about the club scene, but that shit gets me hard. That woman. Good lord. And all the other folks, yeah, some of them were dressed pretty corny, but some of those chicks were dressed up nice and I am a fan of eye candy, so yeah... Yum.

Edit:

The robots making peace was kind of hinted at. I mean, in the second one, they kept alluding to how they 'needed each other'. So yeah.. Just remembered that someone said that didn't make any sense.

And as for more sequels... Well, the Architect does throw out that little "how long do you think this peace will last?" question, so yeah. Spooky spooky foreshadowing fever. *shrug*

for the record, i thought that this movie, and the whole trilogy, while less than perfect, were awesome. you can poke holes in them all you want, but they're still better than 99.999999999999999% of the shit raping our retinas at the movie theaters. these movies and american beauty are the best movies i've ever seen in my life, whether they can be criticized or not.

While they're better than most of our other choices, they certainly aren't the best and are not really even close to being on par w/ AB.
