Season One; Great
Season Two; You could have put all that in about six episodes
Season Three; It can get worse?

So, my sister was in her room watching Lost. Mum came up to go to bed and told her to "turn that telly off," she didn't turn it off, just turned it down so that it was barely audible. It was one of the episodes that just involved Michael running around shouting, "WALT!" and you can hear that outside of her room no matter how quiet the TV was, mum was all, "I told yer t'turn that bleedin' telly off!"

Goddam those "WALT!" episodes were annoying.

"WALT!"
"He's my son!"
"WALT!"
"He's my son!"
Repeat until angry.

Yeah, but they weren't as annoying as the "Moy Baybie!" episodes.

echh, another go nowhere, do nothing episode
I'm still watching it but it's no where near the "got to be there wednesday night when it comes on no matter what!" shows
it's just a dvr and catch it whenever
also, I'm becoming more and more convinced the dudes haven't got and never did have any idea where they were going to ultimately end this up
but that's more something to bitch about in the "Faith" thread i suppose

Everytime I see people posting in this thread - I want to read it and join in. But I'm a season behind because I buy the DVD's when they come out and I never watch them quick enough to ever catch up. And I really don't feel like sitting there staring at my computer to watch all the back episodes to catch up. So I can't watch the show on TV which means I'm never up to date with what is really going on...

That happened to a couple of my friends (in East Lansing) and I actually think they are better for it. The show works better without commercials and waiting from week to week.

If I had it to do all over again, I'd have not watched any of them on TV and I'd wait till ALL the seasons were on DVD. THEN watch it.

I did that with Six Feet Under and it was nice to be able to just watch episode after episode after episode after episode.

It is cool because I watch them all over a couple days. And I still sometimes get confused or miss things. I really don't know how so many people catch so much when they are only watching it a week at a time with sometimes months in between episodes.

That's funny that you mention Six Feet Under. I had a dream last night that I bought that new box set. It was sweet.

I was pissed when they came out with that because I had already purchased all the seasons separately. That shit is majorly wallet busting.

Yeah, one at a time bust you unless you're buying one a year... HBO disc are still expensive either way.

But that box set also has such cool packaging. I've never watched the show before and I still want to buy it just for the packaging. lol.

Heck yeah! I'm taking that as a sign!

I never watched an episode of Lost before I bought it. And that turned out pretty good.

I was going to go to the Dirty Show this weekend... Maybe I'll just vedge out and watch Six Feet Under instead.

SFU one of the best shows EVER - i rented the series after i cancelled HBO, and missed the last 6 episodes or so, totally a marathon viewing in order - grab a case of beer, order a pizza, and settle in - the end will FREAK YOU OUT, but in a good way, i heard all kinds of rumors

I'm with you about watching it on Wednesday nights - I had to work, and not once did I pause and say, damn, I wish I were home watching Lost, like I used to say. Instead, I downloaded it Thursday afternoon and watched it at work. But, I don't think it was a go-nowhere episode, and I'm still convinced they know where the show is going to end up. I think we're going to spend the rest of this season delving into the Others, the next season dealing with getting off the island (the Others are probably trapped now, as well), and the last season dealing with the aftermath of getting off the island - watching people reconnect with their families and friends, how wierd all that would be, and the revelation of what the experiments on the island were for, and how that goes over when the knowledge is released to the general public, and so forth.

What really bugs me is the ludicrous stuff. Shooting a walkie talkie out of a hand. A camera being exactly where Sawyer and Kate are standing for a breather in the jungle and shit like that. Otherwise, yeah, they're slowly rounding it up and it's picking speed.

I miss Locke.

i expected em to kill him off to, in fact i'd be surprised if a lot more of these favorites don't die before it's all said and done
i think i read somewhere that the guy wanted off the show though so they just wrote in the little scene at the end of an episode where he gets killed -problem solved
Bah! if someone doesn't want to commit to do at least 2-3 seasons of this show they shouldn't hire them, it just felt like there was a lot more they wanted or could do with that character before killing him off

Eko was killed because he only wanted to be on the show for about a year. The produces admit they could have done it better, but that was what Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje wanted.

Not a wasted episdoe. Actually it was one of the better episodes in awhile.
Mittelos = Lost Time.It was an anagram that the producers revealed. This actually refernces the episode from season one where Jack finds the cave with fresh water and they find the two skeltons with the black and white rocks. Also the guard was reading 'A Brief History of Time', Juliet also looked at the MRI of a 27 year old woman who had the womb of a 65 year old.
The brainwash scene, if played backwards, says 'only fools are enslaved by time and space'
http://youtube.com/watch?v=gwWhM8Xb_oQ

Producers have said they know exactly how the show is going to end, and that it will be around 100 episodes, which means Season 4 or 5.
Next year there wont be a break. They have seen the sucess of 24 running non stop, but starting later, the producers asaid that Lost will be closer to that format next year (not the real time, but the non stop episodes)

Locke will be the focus of an episode in March and they will finally reveal why he was in a wheel chair. Matthew Fox also said another main character will be killed off, could this be Lockes final days?

You are alos going to find out is Claire is Jacks half sister in the next six episodes.

that's why i see them killing him off in a finale

I "love" how they keep forgetting about stuff. Like the monster that knocked them ouf of that crashed plane in episode 1 I believe. Or polar bears, or strange beings that pull you into the ground and how they hardly ever talk about these things with eachother.

anyways, I really liked to format they used for this one and yeah, definitely the best of the season so far, next week looks promising too, reveal jacks tattoo story - Yawn, show what's up with the other tail section survivors that got kidnapped - Rock! as for the third mystery revealed i got no idea what thats supposed to be

I think it's gonna be about what happened to Karen or whatever her name was. She was one of the tailies, the one that up and disappeared when Ana Lucia, Eko and the gang were trying to get Sawyer back to the camp on the stretcher. She was the flight attendant that gave Jack those mini bottles on the plane in a flashback.

It's funny - what could've been the best episode of Lost in years had the lowest ratings ever for the show. That 4 month break really killed their audience.

I think they probably sat down at one point and said Season 1 is about this; Season 2 is about this; Season 3 is about this... and decided in a rough outline who dies and when and how, but by no means do they have to stick with that, as long as all roads lead to the final point. I mean, they were going to kill Eko off at some point, they just had to adapt and do it earlier, and I think the ability to evolve and adapt is what's going to keep this show interesting up to the end.

yeah but that adapting is going to hurt it with the scrutiny and conspiracy theories everyones coming up with, they're bound to cross themselves up somewhere
