It's Always Sunny - Season 4
This is my favorite show on TV, it starts up with Season 4 this September.
Here is a pretty good article with some things to expect from the cast.
Well there's been three seasons so far, and the first two are out on DVD packaged together.
Nate, I'm not sure if you'd like this show. My best guess for you is that it would be hit and miss, joke by joke, and at the end YOU wouldn't even be sure if you thought it was funny or not.

It's an hilarious program. I remember giving the very first episode a chance and I haven't looked back since.
Because I love. I, who am not loved in return. I have a love that is far deeper than the empty gasps and convulsions of brutish coupling. Shall I speak of her? Shall I speak of my bride? She has no eyes to flirt or promise. But she still sees all. Sees and understands with a wisdom that is god-like in its scale. I stand at the gates of her intellect and I am blinded by the light within. How stupid I must seem to her. How child-like and uncomprehending. Her soul is clean, untainted by the snares and ambiguities of emotion. She is untouched by joy or sorrow. I worship her though I am not worthy. I cherish the purity of her disdain. She does not respect me. She does not fear me. She does not love me. They think she is hard, and cold, those who do not her. They think she is lifeless and without passion. They do not know her. She has not touched them. She touches me, and I am touched by God, by destiny. The whole of existence courses through her. I worship her. I am her slave. No freedom ever was so sweet.
I read that article a week or two ago. I try to keep up with what these guys are doing. This show is so funny, it's insane. This, along with Arrested Development are probably two of the best sitcoms ever produced. I can't believe this show has never been nominated for awards...probably cause they tackle some pretty risque stuff. The acting is awesome too, the dynamic they have is great.
Apparently they have a new show coming out on Fox...like Star Trek, but what they do on the ship between missions. Supposed to be funny.
As for season 4 of IASP, I wonder if the bum winning the bar at the end of last season thing is even going to be addressed.
I highly, HIGHLY recommend this show. They have all the episodes so far at www.hulu.com. Good quality too.
My favs are Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare, Hundred Dollar Baby, Mac Bangs Dennis's Mom and Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person.
Dee: I'm not having sex with you, Charlie.
Charlie: It's not sex I want from you. It's sex I don't want from Dennis.

I don't remember where Carmen the tranny first comes in, but she comes back in season 3 in Mac is a Serial Killer (one of the best eps of the series as far as I'm concerned). All the episodes are available at www.hulu.com. (just rewatched a bunch of Arrested Development there too. Forgot how brilliant that was. The Seaward...Ha!)
This show just got renewed for something like 39 more episodes after the new season (season 4) aires. It's nice to see FX putting a little faith in such a brilliant show with low ratings.

I made it through the first 2 seasons of this saturday before our power went out. Yeah, hands down, the best show on tv. What really sets it even higher than like arrested development or my name is earl is that they don't rely on narration or a shitload of flashbacks. just straight up funny from start to finish.
it took me like 4 episodes to get all the characters names and all. that mac guy kinda scares me how close he is to me with the whole narcissistic stuff. I wish i was more like charlie instead...

i love this show.
i watched the first three seasons in two days about a month ago. when is the first episode? this week, yeah?
she is hot and the penis is fake. its brittany daniels.

this needs to be re-added since the link up there is broked.
fred savage!!!
danny devito is actually my least favorite character on the show. the original four is brilliant and the show doesnt really need him, i think.
I remember I watched this when it first came on tv. I made it a special day for me. I watched the first episode when it started playing and I tried telling all my friends about it but they didn't seem to care. I ended up watching the first episode about ten times before the second episode aired. Great show.
that could work because using magic tricks is a little more believable than shooting eye lasers.
I feel like completely and disgustingly taking over this thread like I did with moon's werner herzog thread and just blatantly getting all up on this show's dick.... just like i did with werner herzog's.
I just saw the one were theyre doing the community service. I was crying when the one guy shows up early and is picking kids for his basketball team, then when the other guy is referee-ing the game at the end my side was fucking hurting from laughing so much!

i think thats my favorite episode. i had to replay the last ten minutes cause i was laughing too hard. and by last ten minutes i mean the last couple of minutes. ten is like half an episode.
I can't wait for tomorrow. Check out IMDB and you can read all the episode titles from the new season. Who Pooped The Bed? sounds classic and maybe it's them shitting all over CSI type shows. There is a whole episode devoted to a Night Man musical. And they do a flashback episode where Paddy's pub is involved with cracking the Liberty Bell or something. Sweet Dee has a Heart Attack. I think that one is about how you can take a billion pills to keep yourself invincible.
Go to FX and check out all the new season preview clips. I pissed myself laughing.
Also, go to paddy's pub blog for more exclusives and blogging from people involved in the show.
Fuck, I sound like I work for the network.
I was at the gym today, watching Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person on hulu while I ran a few miles on the treadmill, and during all the "hulu commercial breaks" they pimped the shit out of Choke the movie. Seriously, every break during it's always sunny had a preview for choke and a link to the r-band trailer. Demographic???
I wished more people watched this show, but at least they have 3 more seasons in contract so...
And you're right, one of the brilliant things about this show is that they don't have to use flashbacks and all the way through it is just straight up tears down your face funny. Their timing is pitch perfect and I think alot has to do with them writing, starring and editing their work.

i dont know any of the history on how they got this show on the air except that it was like some 200 dollar pitch to the network or something. but I'm convinced they thought this up one night while the three of them were piss drunk and saying how awesome it would be to own a bar and how they could drink all the time and live there together forever! and then when they sobered up a little and realized it would never happen they started like daydreaming about all the crazy shit they would do and then that one that gets the credit for creating it is the one who finally realized if they can't own a real bar they could own a imaginary bar!
i think this might be my favorite episode

"This is diet. Does it look like I need to be on a diet?"
The first time I saw that episode I damn near suffocated laughing when the fat kid in the flip flops took a lap with the diet soda in his hand.
4 the mare.
