in rotation....what albums do you have spinning?
Nine Inch Nails' "With Teeth." I've listened to it twice, and I'm not really sold on it. "The Hand That Feeds" is probably the best song on it, but even that song sounds like a "Pretty Hate Machine" outtake and even reminds me of The Cars when that "WOOOOOOOOO-wooooooooooo" synth line pops in towards the end. Everything else on it is eh.
I agree. NIN "With Teeth" is a disappointment for me so far. I'm sure it will grow on me after repeated listenings, but it didn't blow me away first time out. I don't even like "The Hand That Feeds" - too much pop.
Well, there is still hope for the upcoming TOOL album. Assuming they ever finish the damn thing.

ON a sidenote the new nine inch nails is decent, alot tamer than earlier albums but nothing quite sticks to your head much except The Hand That Feeds.

Tell me about it; it's stuck in my head all day so far, and probably won't stop for a bit.

just compilation cds, really like putumayo's "brazilian grooves" and some other stuff my friend gave me. that's the fun part, i don't know song titles, or band/singers names...it's just fun to listen to
John Frusciante - "Niandra Lades & Usually Just a T-Shirt" and "Inside of Emptiness"
A co-worker burned these for me the other night. "Niandra Lades" is odd but listenable and "Inside of Emptiness" is done well. I'd check out more of Frusciante's solo work.
