Improvement?
Music evolves and changes with the times, so it's understandable when an artist/band does the same. But it's not always an improvement. Most of these artists/bands are still going strong, so somebody likes the changes. Me? Not usually. (I'm just going to point out that although this thread is über long, there is obviously no need to watch every video. I just added them for the comparison. )

AFI is my favorite band. They're amazing.
I LIKE Blaqk Audio, but it's not the same. Thank Jeezuhs that they didn't break up to make it happen, but this song still gets me hot.

Chenoa....I would have gone a little further back with the Soundgarden reference. Black Hole Sun was a total SHITLOG of a song. They even admit it was a shitlog. However, I know what you meant. Check out their first album....It was like Chocolate silk pie and now....they feed us shitlogs.

Sorry Z, didn't mean to skip over you like that. I haven't really listened to AFI too much, but I can see a lot of change happening there. And songs that get you hot are certainly keepers, right?

Oh, I think They'll be back soon, Chenoa. I spoke with John dolmayan's nephew over youtube, yes it was him, and he said that they have already recorded a few instrumental tracks and once serj gets back from touring he'll go record. He said the album will be called Disease and should be expected around november this year.
