QOTSA rules
try to find/download the kyuss/qotsa split... best thing either band did. includes two early versions of songs on that qotsa album
also check out fatso jetson... influenced josh homme's style
see what i mean about liking music better?
my favorite band is refused
Thanks for the info., Klop. I haven't heard of Fatso Jetson, but I'll definitely check it out.

listen to the accused, minutemen, or richard hell and the vovoids instead
Hardcore punk will rule the ages, refused was one of the most politically active hardcore bands ever! i miss them so much
theyre hardcore?
then check out discharge
check out conflict. thats some good punk. yeah minutemen are good. mike watt,(is that right) played bass for IGGY at all tomorrows parties. IGGY and the STOOGES were fucking amazing.
klopper you are fogetting Sick of it All they fuckin rule
kl0p is your musical taste centered around stoner rock?
i didnt forget about them
i dont know them
not a big punk fan
ohh
ok then I like meshuggah
I like Radiohead. Ha.
Then again, I might be wrong.
early today is the day > any meshuggah, but i like both in small does
clinic, wilco > radiohead
clutch is my fav band, I also have kyuss and qotsa, any other bands I should be checking out in the same zone as these?
wilco > radiohead
agreed. Wilco is totally underrated.
Eh, good but not good enough.
Wilco <= Clinic < Radiohead
Interpol is one of my favs too, those who claim they ripped off Joy Division [another great band] can suck it, the only similarity is the vocals.
Then again, I might be wrong.

electric wizard, sleep, old man gloom, pelican for more of the heavy
sunn0)), earth for even heavier
dead meadow for like beatles meets kyuss, some call it softcore jimi hendrix
fatso jetson > qotsa
get the kyuss qotsa split, best thing either band has done
melvins and jucifer are good too

Lyrics and composition?
Then again, I might be wrong.

Where can I get this?
I can tell you like ween from your avatar, they performed as puppets on Crank Yankers last night, played Hey there Fancypants, it was pretty funny, I was suprised cuz I normally don't watch that show, I just happened to catch the ween part.
Radiohead has some good tunes
SOME being the key word.
The Velvet Underground
velvet undergrounds good you may pass
that split is real hard to find
it was on mans ruin which went under
i have it on soulseek, you might be able to find it on kaaza... if you need the track list i can give it to you. the only thing is being a split its like a hybrid of kyuss and qotsa performing and a lot of the songs are covers (into the void, the two qotsa songs) so its hard to get the right thing
that ween songs a good one
quebec is a great album
good choice maddetche, one of my fav bands i would have to say. another is godspeed you black emperor, but weve arguedthis many times so please lets not.
Built To Spill is my favorite band.
“If you can quit, probably you should.”
-Alexander Blackburn, then editor of Writer’s Forum in Colorado
Dead Lazlo's Place

i tend to like modest mouse a little better then built to spill, and i also saw them both at all tomorrows parties, isaac was awesome on guitar and so was doug, although doug had a few slip ups and didnt really get into he sounded good none the less. modes mouse rocked though. as did sonic youth, iggy and the stooges, also the drummer of deerhoof sounded better than most drummers that were there for the two nights and alls he had was a snare, a cymbal and a bass drum. he was amazing to watch
Beulah
i just CANNOT get into Modest Mouse, i download their stuff and i'm always dissapointed by what i hear
ive been listening to bullet proof wallets lately, ghostface is an amazing lyricist. and yeah beulah, you cant get enough of beulah, im suppose to go see explosions in the sky with my cuz tomorrow night. they are another one of my fav bands

when you say ghostface do you mean Ghostface Killah from the Wu-Tang Clan?
The Royal Guardsmen
yes ghostface killah, theres not another ghostface with the same album name as ghostface killah, that would be just absurd.
ahh sorry for the smart ass remarks
remind me to cry later......."you cut me too deep man!"
*looks at watch* cry..................................................NOW
My favorite bands are AnalCunt and Me First & The Gimme Gimmes. Oh, and Kenny Loggins. Hardcore to the fucking maxx, man.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Also, I've been listening to a lot of Cowboy Mouth and Johnny Cash recently. I don't know why. And Pedro The Lion, though I don't know for the life of me who introduced them to me. Hum is still one of my alltime favorite.

He responded to you? What did you say?
Radiohead is my favorite band, but I like Frog Eyes, On-Air Library, Clouddead, Ilia(sp), and other bands that I don't feel like writing down.
