House of the Dead

Didn't see this, but I sort of wrote-it-off as another 'Resident Evil', which I did make the mistake of seeing...

I mean, movies like that could be good in the right hands... say if '28 Days Later' director Danny Boyle had done it... or George Romero of 'Night of the Living Dead' fame, then maybe.. just maybe, it might not completely suck... but as it stands, these film companies want to go for the quick buck and cheap salaries and it just turns into another nightmare like the live-action version of Spawn...

i was gonna make a thread for this crap-tastic movie, but even a thread would be glorifying it in my opinion. one of the chicks is form toronto so City TV has been plugging the hell outta it "these zombies are hardcore, they run fast!" whoop-dee-fucking-do ugh makes me ashamed

Doesn't matter. A videogame's no worse than a film based on a comic book... excuse me... graphic novel. Besides, in the case of Resident Evil, the storyline in the Playstation game wasn't that bad...

the playstation story line was quite good actually. Romero did a script which basically stuck to the game story line A LOT closer. whatever his name is's version was ok, enjoyable. id see the second one in the theatres easily. but still, woulda been nice to have the movie stick to the game's stroyline

house of the dead also coulda been a lot better if it stuck with the haunted/terrorized castle/village story line.

Sorry, I like trash. I loved the movie Jack Frost (The one where the snowman killed people, not the one with Batman 1). I also like zombie flicks. And I like boobs.... so (to me) this movie had a lot going for it.... I would've seen Kill Bill, but my friend was anti-Tarintino

Jack Frost was pretty funny lol i saw it on the question of how a snow man could kill people, enjoyable. id rent it again

I like zombie flicks a lot, I love boobs, but I'm not the type of consumer who will sit through shit for boobs and zombies only... I got the internet for that... and my zombie boobs on here are friggin' free...

I was just playing this game the other day.

I have a feeling that one day they may do a movie based on Area 51.

I liked Resident Evil, but maybe because I am such a huge fan of the game. I did, but I didn't. I take that back, the movie was decent.

The Second One looks better, and the Second Game was better and plus the Second Movie starts off just like Disc 2 from the Resident Evil 2.

The House of The Dead looked terrible. Any movie with an old ass DMX song as it theme is going to be tired, and weak.

And plus Hip Hop and Gore doesn't mix.

Speakin' o' da hood, I was watching John Singleton's "Baby Boy" again on Friday, and the thought crossed my mind that Tales From The Hood was a decent film. Leprachaun on the other hand...

There is a huge difference between the pussy ass Hip Hop of today, and Gangsta Rap.

When I say Hip Hop I mean the cheezy ass wankster shit from now like, 50 Cent, Ja Rule, Jay-Z...and so on.

Snopp, Dre, 2-Pac, and all of Death Row were so hardcore mother fuckers.

When I say Hip Hop and Gore doesn't mix I mean this pussy shit listed above.

Of course Gangsta Rap mixes well with the macabre of Horror and Gore.

That high screechy synth / record squeel always sends shivers down my spine.

All of those plot twisty movies starring rap thugs from the first half of the 1990's were fucking cool.

I really liked this movie.

Anyway, I can't remember anything hip-hop about it.

nor can i. i do know what movie brock is talking about. the one where the 3 rappers go to buy some "shit" forma funeral home only to find their own bodies in the coffins. tales from the hood or somehting simuilar

All I can really say about this movie is:

Thank god I was drunk. Really drunk.

I mean, I could tell it was fucking stupid, but as wasted as I was, I sort of enjoyed it in a "how fucking retar-hey look boobies" sort of way.

I mean, at first I thought it was a joke or something.. With that fucking first mate guy... What the fuck! His voice! I was like "What!"

Seriously... Yeah, it's like wow... I don't think I've ever seen a movie in a theatre that was that fucking awful.. Not even close.. But haha, fun times.

Capt Morgan: Making shitty movies not so shitty since...... fuckin early on.

Saw a preview for the new Dawn of the Dead. That looks good.

The entire soundtrack was based on rapcore and stuff like Pantera... therefore the film was deemed a rapcore film by people like Clive Barker in his A-Z of Horror book...
