has anyone seen this? very skeptical at first, being who was directing it. but i thought it was pretty good, if not redeeming for ben affleck. just as long as he stops acting.

Is the movie based on the Dennis lehane book? If so I have it but havent read it yet. I liked his other ones and thought Shutter Island would make a great movie.

yeah, it's based on the book.
The movie looks too long and dry for me to sit through watching it, but it'll probably win a bunch of awards.
