G Unit: Beg for Mercy
I picked this one up today. If you're a fan of rap and hip hop, you can't go wrong. It has some great beats, and the lyrics overall flow pretty well, although the subject matter sticks pretty much to drinkin, smokin, fucking, and killing.
My favorite tracks are "Poppin' them thangs", "Stunt 101", and "Betta ask somebody".
Wow, I felt so stupid just naming the tracks...

Yeah. 50 Cent is in the group, and 2 other guys join him this go around. They are actually pretty talented from what I've heard so far.
Definately a must buy if you are into this type of music.

For the next 2 years or so, every artist will be kinda like 50 cent.
The only thing I hate about 50 cent is how he tries to play both sides. On one hand, his cd is filled with shit about smackin' hoes and poppin' gangsters, but every time he is interviewed, he talks about how his name is a metaphor for change and about God and Jesus in his songs and about how Tampax is his choice brand of tampons. Fuckin' A, I either want a gangster or a bible thumper, not a mix-match of mediocracy.

what a wanksta
If you're itching for a Dre beat, download "Poppin' Them Thangs". This is pure Dre instrumental goodness.
Dre's other song on the cd is surprisingly disapointing. But oh well, can't have everything...

not a big fan of the G-unit, I'm more of an Ice cube man my self.
Ice Cube hasn't had a good song since forever. Admit it, his music sucks almost as hard as his acting.
-Bohonkie
I like his old stuff mostly ending at leathal injection. I do like some of the west side connection.
Dub-C has the smoothest Crip-Walk on the planet!
the only ice cube song i ever liked is Ghetto Vet
we be Clubbin!!!!
everybody likes when a girl shakes sumtin
THE CULT.. Show me love up in the club

I have this amzing crush on Big Boi....and yes i think dre's dope shit...but only his old stuff....I like Jay-z's new video 'change clothes' but im mostly into Snoop i prefer the westcoast sound a little better.
mr. lucci is THE rapper, from the south of course
Now that i think about it i really like the South as well....I love Luda and Chingy..but a good damn do i hate Nelly!
it gets MUCH better than Luda and Chingy, stuff you cant get off of kazaa and all that, REAL underground
I'm pretty much strict westcoast over here. A much more instrumental sound, although the lyrics can get a little depressing over time. South seems to be more into partying and crackin' jokes in their songs, not just packin' heat and slappin' bitches around.

Nelly is from the south he's from the STL. Cingy sux, Jay Z sux, and fucking 50 Cent sux.
And Old shit is ten times better than most of the new shit that comes out these days. Eric B and Rakim - Dont sweat the technique, Nas - Illmatic, NWA - Straight outta compton, Public Enemy - Fear of a black planet, these albums blow away all of the jayz, chingy, 50 cent's albums. New shit like Talib Kweli - Quality, Non-Prophets - Hope, Sage Francis - Personal Journals, Common, Nas - Stillmatic / God's Son.
Eminem, Nelly, Ludacris, Snoop and Dr. Dre are good if you like your music with irrevelant lyrics.
"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms." Albert Einstein
Eminem's lyrics aren't irrevelent. I actually find his lyrics hilarious and sometimes even thought provoking. I agree with the other rappers you list, though. I don't listen to them for the lyrics. I bump them while driving to look cool in my 91 Chevy Corsica...PEEEMPS!

south is all right.
Anybody down south listen to screw music. (Swisha house, lil flip, DJ Screw)

are they kinda like 50 cent?
