Fort Minor?
I didn't really like them at first, it seemed like Mike Shinoda was getting high on being famous and wanted more. Then my boyfriend bought the CD, and it's my favorite now. I love hip hop, I like beats, but I love metal because I like that they have lyrics that are relevent to everyday life. This CD is the best of both worlds. My favorite song on it is called "Kenji" and is about Shinoda's grandfather, dad, and aunts and uncles being thrown into an internment camp during WWII. Mostly I was wondering what you guys think. Have you heard the album? Bought it? Liked what you've heard? Why?
"I have seen life on this planet, Scully, and that is precisely why I am looking elsewhere"
It's on my walkman and the bits I've had on, have been really good like "Remember the name"
I don't like being a mean person. Or coming off sounding like an arrogant jerk.
But Fort Minor is horrible. Awful. Disgusting. They are just an example why (some/most) mainstream music is just fabricated radio rock geared toward the average person so they can make a dollar that they will eventually blow and go bankrupt in 5 years.

I got a lift with a friend and he played "Remember the name" in the car. I didn't like it.
