Films You Want To See But Can Never Find
for one reason or another.
I really want to see Them, the french film that people kept saying The Strangers ripped off (TRUTH: The Strangers was written years before Them). Its not at any video store around here and Im too cheap to buy the movie and torrents suck for anything other then porn.
I also want to rent Near Dark (which Im pretty sure the video store DOES have) and Steven Soderberg that I cant find anywhere, Bubble and Schizopolis.
and right now I want to see Let The Right One In and Syndoche, New York but neither are playing here or in any other state thats not New York or California.

Netflix has almost everything i want to see. Bubble was really good, but I can't find The Silent Twins, so it's not perfect.
The Last Supper, i want to see it again just because it had a very interesting premise.
Never mind that it had cameron diaz in it, i can't find this at brick and mortar stores.
I want to see "Last Night" but Netflix doesn't have it.
It's about the last night on Earth before the world ends from an unknown (the the viewer) reason. A woman is trying to fulfill a suicide pact but can't find her husband.
Sounds like a good flick.
The Mascot
that movie with kiefer sutherland and reece witherspoon-early 90's-twisted and beautifully wicked take on little red riding hood. can't find it because i can never remember the fukken name!!! a little help on this one would be rad....
my ability to be original in all confirmation and definition of the word desperately worries me.

People tell me how Donnie Darko is a a good movie, and I cant find it anywhere. Also Boondock Saints....the only place I could find that is online
I'd like to see, this cause I'm in it, i play a punk-rocker getting frisked outside a show, i say "Watch it maaan," or something.
Let The Right One In is excellent so I hope you get chance to see it.
I want to see it too now.

If you like Little Red Riding Hood, here's another remake of that tale,
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087075/
The movie is pretty good, but sucks in comparison to the short story it's based on,

And if you're really insanely obsessive about Little Red Riding Hood, read this,

But if you're not interested in any of that, you can check this out, which is completely unrelated,

Or you could get off your computer, and go take a walk. It's good exercise.

It shouldn't be all that hard to find. I just dug it out of one of those $5 bins at Walmart a few months ago.
And I want to see Waking Life
Over the Top. The guy who played his son in that movie went to my Catholic school in Burbank. It was a terrible movie, makes Roadhouse look Oscar worthy.
i think his son also played his son in one of those Rocky movies.
I desperately want to see "Repo! The Genetic Opera", http://www.repo-opera.com/ but it is a VERY limited release, at less than a dozen theaters as of yesterday, and the nearest to me hundreds of miles away. Lionsgate really screwed the pooch on distribution of this one, but it is receiving a LOT of fan support and internet support, and received nothing but praise at the festivals where is debuted, so hopefully this opening weekend will be strong enough for a wider release... otherwise i will have to wait for DVDs...
edit: apparently, the LA Times review called it "The Worst movie of the year," but every one of its screenings Friday were sold out and additional screenings had to be scheduled in LA and NY...
Synechdote, NY looks good but I dont think I will get the dchance to see it... it is playing just a few miles from me but I am not sure time will allow it...
Five, the weakest of them all.
Crash, the Cronenburg one.

No shit, really? David somebody? That's weird...I swear I don't remember ever knowing that was his actual kid. Are you sure?
I wanna see Raging Phoenix! I've become a fan of JeeJa Yanin ever since seeing her in the Thai film, Chocolate.
Evil Dead! Cos its banned in New Zealand. And Braindead, apparently even though Peter Jackson was from here you have to order his early stuff from overseas, we have 5.83 million copies of Lord of the Rings though
Where are you Necrodelic? Raging Phoenix should be simple to find, it's out here in Britain anyway.
What I really want to see is Ingmar Bergman's Face To Face, absolutely love this man's work and this is one of his that I've been dying to see for years and years, don't think it even got a cinema release here?
The joys of multi region dvd/blu ray players.
I Love that movie it use to come on FX alot a few years ago
great movie i saw it on demand from comcast cable
sorry i didnt qoute i was talking about the last supper and then i was talking about let the right one in. I really loved fantastic mister fox and for some reason I cant get 6 degrees of separation on dvd
Did you know you can edit posts so you don't have to triple post?
Sorry im a newb
Kurasawa's The Silent Duel. None of the t*rentz movie stores have it in English subtitle.
I always wanted to see "Exodus", with Paul Newman, based on the novel by Leon Uris, about the Jews settling Israel. It was filmed on location and the whole bit. I managed to catch half of it on cable late at night once, but Netflix said their copy was on "long wait" for like a year, and then it went to "unavailable". Fuck you guise.
There is hope, but not for us.
I probably should have sent that back.
Australia. It hasn't been released here yet.
Here is another film, I wanna check out. The Calamari Wrestler. I love those weird Japanese movies.
i didn't know you were from Australia, Necro. where abouts are you?
El Mariachi and Desperado - can't seem to find them anywhere.
also, Masked and Anonymous starring Bob Dylan.
I just found a movie called Five Minutes To Live starring Johnny Cash! It looks awful and I can't wait to see it.
I want Crooked earth on DVD. I had it on video, and someone pinched it like two years ago. I went everywhere searching for it, only to find out that they don’t sell it in New Zealand anymore, but apparently have it in Australia. It’s a New Zealand film, how the hell does that happen?!
this sounds incredible. be sure to post back with a full review of its horrendous qualities.
I'm from Sydney aswell. Parramatta. Any other Aussie culties here?
Here's another film I can't find, but wanna see.
ahhh, Parramatta.

That's good to know. Nice meeting you, Matthew. You're a writer right? I think I remember you said it once on a forum, but I'm not too sure now. I gotta bad memory. Anyway, it'd be cool to check out your stories sometime.
Here's another flick I can't find. The Foul King.
Great movie, I highly recommend it. Anything by Richard Linklater is worth watching.
