Films you hate no matter what anyone says.
Ahh! American Pie, hate that. Really pisses me off that so many people like it.
Also, Adaptation isn't as good as so many people seem to think it is, I just thought it was trying to hard to be clever.
!
Donnie Darko but someone else must have said this already. Must .
Donnie Darko but someone else must have said this already. Must .
Chuck probably said it, he said it in a different thread once.
!
Boy's got taste.
I hate Steel Magnolias. All girls seem to love it, but I always fall asleep in it.
I hate Steel Magnolias too, and Pretty Woman. Dirty Dancing too - these kinds of chick flicks just do nothing for me.
Other films that, in my opinion, didn't live up to their hype include The Matrix, Sin City, Forrest Gump, The Godfather (trilogy), Anchorman, Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy, The Harry Potter movies...
I could go on and on, but I won't because I'm new here and don't want to give you all the impression that I hate everything.
The Godfather (trilogy).
That's a balls statement. (I agree with three, put PART I and II?)
Especially part one. I re-watched it recently and even though I'd already seen it I was gripped!
I think PART II is the better film, but that's a bullshit remark, because PART II can't exist without the backstory of PART I. I kind of see them as one film. I do like the idea though, that PART III wasn't supposed to be called PART III, but THE DEATH OF MICHAEL CORLEONE. That would look really good on a film poster.
*waves hand in slow motion over poster*
"The DEATH... of Michael Corleone."
I liked part one best. It's just more solid, part two's a bit rambling.
Says you. PART I is more a traditional story about a young guy rising in the chain of the Mob and PART II is more a deconstruction of America and it's greed for money and at the same time showing how father and son are in a way pre-destined to follow the same path.
You're right. What would I know?
You're right. What would I know?
I was being silly. I edited more into the post.
Something About Mary. Pretty much anything featuring Ben Stiller. I don't know why I just can't stand that guy for some reason. It's weird there seems to be a theme with "male actors I fucking hate". Oh yeah and who was that fat fuck from SNL (not John Belushi he was cool) Chris something, I just don't think he was funny at all don't care what anybody else says.
This is a really good idea.
I was being silly. I edited more into the post.
I see that now. Very concise.
Almost anything with Adam Sandler in is shit. I love that joke in South Park when that board of executives are paying Cartman (posed as a robot made out of cardboard) to think up movie ideas and he suggests: "How about - Adam Sandler falls in love with a Golden Retriever?"
GARDEN STATE. With a vengeance.
GARDEN STATE. With a vengeance.
*gasps* Garden State's great. 'City of Lost Children' now there's a film people love, that I hate.
GARDEN STATE. With a vengeance.
Shit the bed, Brownie! Why are you so full of hate?
Who was it who pointed out that the film is supposed to be Indie, but it's full of crane shots which obviously aren't cheap.

That dude must have made a lot of money on Scrubs. It's a popular show!

I have no idea.

I'm in the mood for some at the moment, is on E4 tonight? Aw hell, I probably just end up watching Pitch Black and getting drunk again.

If you flop your head onto your right shoulder and look at this: <3, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I dunno dude, the TV reception's so bad out here in the boonies that my stolen Digibox doesn't work!
Left or right ?
Right. I changed my post so fuck off.
You don't need to be mean.
some bitch pissed him off.
Is that some kind of veiled comment?

Koyaanisqatsi SUCKED
Titanic SUCKED
Congo SUCKED
Queen's Logic SUCKED
And what makes them more offensive, every one of these movies had at least one factor (director, lead actor, overall cast) that should have made it at least tolerable. but they SUCKED!
When we call soccer 'football' the terrorists have won.

Good call, that was the one with the one good line of 'I remember this place, it was where they faked the moon landing.' Right?
When we call soccer 'football' the terrorists have won.

I hadn't seen that one. But hey, I saw 'The Italian Job' because Ed Norton had never let me down, and that movie SUCKED big time.
The one I was thinking of is Sneakers.

I didn't like Sin City.
It was just so...safe. And crap.
I liked his jumper.
Not Elijah Wood though, he's creepy and moist looking.
But he's only two foot tall
To add a acouple of other poor Bill Murray movies that weren't funny or interesting:
Lost in Translation
Royal Tenenbaums
( back)
How are these films not funny or interesting? I demand to know.
I've gotten used to the fact that I didnt like Life Aquatic too much.
I think I was fooling myself for a while.

The Life Aquatic? I LOVE IT. I could watch it all day. The only bad thing about it is the stop-motion. How I hate stop-motion.
wow, you don't fuck around, huh?
Idiot comedy (as I so affectionately call it) is a waste of time to me.
Oh, I can also add:
Dumb and Dumber and its stupid sequal
Yes, ALL the Police Acadamy shows
and most of Bill Murry's films. Caddy Shack being a huge exception to the Idiot Comedy rule.
