Has anyone ever read those? The novels they make out of movie scripts?

Darling, that giant emoticon thing is so funny I'm crying.
And yes, one time, when I was in a foreign country and was starved for reading material, I read the book adaptation of both "Never Been Kissed" and "The Breakfast Club." There are no words.
There is hope, but not for us.
Star Wars!
And Sonic the Hedgehog! I had about 5 Sonic the Hedgehog books... holy shit they were horrible and superb at the same time.
If God takes life, he's an indian giver.
THEY MADE SONIC THE HEDGEHOG BOOKS!? Holy shit. That is too cool.
There is hope, but not for us.
Yeah they did! They even brought in Tails during the Sonic 2 period. And I'm pretty sure they brought in Knuckles.
There was a whole series.

no...but seriously,
I read the adaptation to Spider-Man prior to seeing the movie (I was that pumped about the damned movie) and in the end I think it was better. There was more charactarization...everyone wasn't so flat.
It was a sucky novel...but a much better attempt at the story that the film was.

I havn't even tried to read one, but my friend loves them. He swears that novel for "Blackhawk Down" is the best novel in existance.
I just keep reminding him that he's a moron.

Alien 3-
I got it when I was 10(?) 'cause A3 was the shiz. I never even read it.
Bingo-
Book about a movie about a dog. Dunno if it was any good. I was ten, you had to read something for school, and it had photos in the middle.
its off topic but...
The Death Of Superman (the novel)-
At the time ('94?) it was impossible to get this in comic form, so I got the 500 page hardback novelizeation, and yeah, I never read it. A year later they put out a cheap graphic novel, compiling the 8(?) comic books of the series. It was like $10. I will now never have a reson to even open it.

And...
Batman The Movie (The Comic)-
Fan-fucking-tastic. I still have it.
Memories of this led me to buy...
Batman Forever (The comic)-
Big ol' pile. Like the movie.

What?
Die Hard With A Vengeance - i couldnt wait for the movie to come out. (Of course when it did, I was equally pissed with the movie and the book.)
Aliens vs Preditors (They both captivated me when I was younger, but they werent any good)
Preditor series - 4 books (I read these mostly out of a desire for completion)
Get Shorty
Star Wars (Every book ever published up to about 2 years ago as they have gotten completly out of hand)
A few dozen others, but I cant think of them right now

Were they full-on novels or kids picture books?
If the former, that is so rad.

When I was younger I was on vacation and ran out of books to read (this was the time before HS and College where I actually enjoyed reading. I enjoy it now that I'm out of college too). My parents bought me a book from Stop & Shop, first sign that it was going to suck. The book was Dick Tracy. The movie sucked big time, so you can imagine how bad the book was.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Proper novels. I think i'll go back and buy em...put them in my recipient's secret santa box! (Along with a few really trash romance novels)
Wrath of Khan, though I've never seen the movie.

(Note to self: apparently, you can't make gigantic emoticons. Damn)
