Favorite Album Artwork
Everyone post their top five favorite album covers of all time.
Since records went belly up in the 80s, album artwork has really taken a turn for the worse...
1. The Downward Spiral- Nine Inch Nails
2. Hail to the Thief- Radiohead
3. Wish You Were Here- Pink Floyd
4. OK Computer- Radiohead
5. A Momentary Lapse of Reason- Pink Floyd

Dude, 4 comes before 5.

And 2 before 3. I'm beginning to think this is an attempt to be "different."
Yeah, I wasn't going to point it all out at once. Thought it'd be more amusing to draw it out. Oh well.
Sorry, didn't mean to screw up your plans.
1. Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
2. Swordfishtrombones - Tom Waits
3. Come to Daddy - Aphex Twin
4. Mule Variations - Tom Waits
5. Blood Money - Tom Waits
Yeah, I'm a bit into Tom Waits.
I actually think him and Chuck have a lot in common. They both tell very grotesque stories, stories that could be very ugly, but they make them funny and even beautiful. Anybody else notice this? I think Tom's song in Fight Club was right at home.
I'd like to see Tom write the entire soundtrack for a Palahniuk film. Waddaya think?
Which film?
Don't you know there ain't no Devil there's just God when He's drunk.

Nice job!!!
Its comforting to know you can at least count to 5.
"I'm beginning to think this is an attempt to be "different.""
Well dont. I got over the whole rebelious 'statements of my individuality' phase when I was 17.
I changed my mind regarding the order after Id typed them, so it was easier to change the numbers rather than put them into chronilogical order,
I thought that was pretty obvious.......maybe not.
It's not very hard.
Hit home. Hold shift and hit end. Ctrl + x. Arrow around to where ever you want it. Ctrl + v. It's way easy, you schmuck.
Interesting tidbit: Thom himself hates that album art. I'm not swaying either way on it. I like the inside alright.
-The Bends - Radiohead
-Vespertine - Bjork
-Deftones - Deftones (I didn't like it until I owned it and I could really look at it)
-APC - Mer De Noms
-Tool - Lateralus
Wow... no indiefuck bands on that list. I'm surprised.
If God takes life, he's an indian giver.
1. Beck- Sea Change ( there are 4 different versions and they are all awesome)
2.Radiohead- Kid A
3. Beck- Odelay
4.Radiohead- Amnesiac

Fuck off, backspace then the # is easier
Not by much. And my way looks nicer. Appearance is everything, after all.
of course....
Bow down before it,

I heard the songs on that album were written for Michael Jackson....but Ive also heard its quite good.....dont believe everything you hear.
he has eyeliner on.what a fag
I wear eyeliner on occasion and I'M not a fag!!!
If he's a fag its because he went out with Britta's without nailling her (or so we're told)
my favorite is david bowie- aladdin sane, but i am obsessed, so that might just be that part of my head talking.

with a bit of luck, his life was ruined forever. always thinking that just behind some narrow door in all of his favorite bars, men in red woolen shirts are getting incredible kicks from things he'll never know.
WOW! I actually actively hate all the artwork you suggested.
You're my reverse pole of artistic taste!
Well, except the Bowie stuff. I would have Manson's Mechanical Animals on my top 5 except it's a direct ripoff of Aladdin Sane.

That Rage Against the Machine is awesome.
I knew when I saw it in Sam Goody's, I must have it. Just based on the cover alone.
Who woulda known the band kicked so much ass.
-Bohonkie
That pigface album brings back bad drug memories.

"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms." Albert Einstein
