Another ref to Family Guy from the simpsons is in one of the more recent Halloween eps, the one with the hammock that creates clones of Homer. One of the last more mutated Homers is Peter Griffin.

Family Guy is much funnier than The Simpsons, although, if weren't for the latter, there would never have been the former.
