I tried to read the manga once but i couldn't get into it. The series is on Netflix though so i'll probably watch it. It's like a more violent Chobits i think.

I loved it! I think seeing it in action may change your mind. Full Metal Alchemist is by far my favorite though.

My boyfriend likes Full Metal Alchemist, I'll mention it to him.

Elfen Lied is pure savagery. YouTube. "Lucy kicks ass Elfen Lied". Bout an 8 minute opening scene for the show. Naked chick in a helmet severing everything and everyone in her sight.

Dude, you need to watch DBZ. Or at least DBZ abridged. (it's a comedy dubbed and edited by college aged fans of the show. It's hilarious and only 30 episodes so far) I forget, you may have said you watched DBZ abridged.

Oh and Issac. You REALLY need to watch Death Note. You'll fall in love with it after two episodes.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. THAT is all. "Lust" is one of my favorite villains of all time. I got the tattoo she's got on her breast on my forearm. The story moved me that much. I don't even GET tattoos.

They do the same kinda shit in Elfen Lied. One of the chicks with horns has split personality (Lucy, the savage/ Myu, the sweetheart) When she's Myu she turns into this girl who can't even talk, she's like Madison from SPLASH. She's constantly grabbing everyone's tits and ass.

Weird. But hilarious.

Try Furi Kuri or Fooly Cooly. FLCL should work though. It's on Netflix too.

And DBZ may be cliche or formulaic or even stupid, but it's pure nostalgia for me.

Pokémon was awesome.

You guys should really try locating Full Metal Alchemist. GREAT voice acting, incredible art, a moving story. (couple episodes made me actually weepy) When I first heard "Full Metal", I thought "Oh I'm not watching crap about robots and machines. NOTHING like that. These two brothers try to bring their mother back to life using alchemy and completely go against the laws of alchemy. And create this horrible monster. One brother loses his arm and a leg and the other younger brother loses everything but his soul, in which the older brother transmutates his youngin bro's soul into a suit of armor. It's just amazing. Government cover-ups, murder, weird creates called Homunculi, all named after the seven deadly sins... I have watched all 52 episodes about 6 times.

I watched the original japanese version with English subtitles. The voice acting is great in that. The english version sucks such hard balls.

The voice actor for Edward won awards for his talents in voice acting lol.

I'm team English. If I wanted to read, I'd have the Manga. Besides, to me all the Japnese voices sound the same.

All the main guys have high male voices.
All the women have squeaky voices.
All the bad guys sound like a samurai warrior.
All the bishie teen guys have a soft spoken smooth voice.
