Deftones!
I'm going to see Deftones play tonight, for the first time.
I'm really rather excited! I love their music, they're easily my favourite band of ALL time.
Anybody else love Deftones???

Definitely one of my favorite bands - Abe is one of my favorite drummers, wow amazing live.

I used to love them in the late 90's/early 00's, but then I kind of lost interest. I will say that they have a Great New Record -Diamond Eyes. It's really good and it made me a fan again. I thought I was through with them until I heard that record. Great stuff. Sounds like a good time -enjoy the show.

How was the show?
One of my top 5 favorite bands, definitely. They are one of those bands that rarely disappoints. Even their b-sides disk feels like an accomplished album.
I've seen then 3 or 4 times, never a disappointment. I even got to meet them backstage once. I was too nervous to have any sort of intelligent conversation, and damn, they are one of those bands that I'd love to just sit and talk with.
"Around the Fur" is def one of my fav. records of all time

White Pony is #1 for me (Elite, Digital Bath, Teenager), but Diamond Eyes is a close second right now. Everything else is just difficult to put into any sort of hierarchy.
I've only seen them once. Another time, while on tour with Metallica (and others) they didn't show up, Chino had hurt his back diving from the stage or something. No idea.
Anyway, get me a t-shirt, alright?

They were, as expected, absolutely awesome!
Played all the old classics and a lot of the new album, which is easily a return to their best!
