Just got into this show, episode two tonight. I really like it a lot. Lots of noir elements, set in a modern day world of lawyers and big business. Nicely shot, cinematography, art direction. Figured you guys might want to hear about it. If you have TiVo you can probably still catch up. Good stuff.

Damages with Glenn Close on F/X. Can't find a link to F/X or Damages, but lots of blogs talking about it.

I just watched the first season and have started the second. I got the first season off netflix and watched it in a marathon session. My head almost exploded. Everything you mention is so true. I'm addicted to this show.
