Christopher Nolan's Inception
It doesn't come out until sometime in 2010, but I'm goddamn excited for this movie: Chris Nolan writing and directing, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cillian Murphy, Ellen Page, Michael Caine, Ken Wantanabe, and Tom Beringer.
Here's the IMDB link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1375666/
I love Chris Nolan & pretty much everyone else, bar Leo. I just don't like his pudgey smug face. I'm looking forward to the film though.
"What cha readin' fer??"
There's not much you can't love right there.
Too bad Tom Berenger's not in it...
And I used to have a distaste for DiCraprio when he was the sex symbol of prepubescent girls the nation over, but he became tolerable with Gangs of NY, and was forgiven for his past cheesiness with The Depahted.
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."

Yeah, too bad he sucked in The Departed though, huh?
I like his previous movies, especially The Prestige and The Dark Knight, I think he has a good eye for darker movies, so while i'm not over excited for this, I will probably see it when it comes out.
Also, I think I made that sig Lazlo's using.
Actually I don't sit behind a PC, I sit infront of a PC, and if I'm honest I sit at a desk which happens to have a PC on it, not behind or infront of a desk, at a desk.
The Departed was rubbish as a whole.

You haven't seen The Basketball Diaries then? he was excellent in this. And Shutter Island should be good.
The Departed was good, but it was by far not the best movie to come out that year. Everyone in it was great, though. Mark Walhberg and DiCaprio were both fun to watch, and Blood Diamond was good, too.
This movie looks fucking awesome.
I want Nolan to do another small movie like Memento again.
"It is true, that which I have revealed to you; there is no God, no universe, no human race, no earthly life, no heaven, no hell. It is all a dream - a grotesque and foolish dream. Nothing exists but you. And you are but a thought - a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities."
Hey look, there's a teaser trailer up. Looks a little bit Matrix.
!
Oooooh!
edit: sorry mik...I posted before reading new posts.
Well, he certainly knows how to put a trailer together.
I'm looking forward to Shutter Island as well.
Get the sugar. Get the sugar. Get the sugar.
Michael Caine? WHY?? I was feeling very optimistic and all "wow what a great cast!" But I can't STAND Michael Caine.
"I'm glad I live in the GPS era. In a different century, I would've set off to visit the other side of the village and wandered off into the mountains and been eaten by a carnivorous plant. Or discovered the Americas."

The plotline to Inception sounds very similar to an anime I have seen before called Paprika.

Paprika was a mess though.
Paprika is messing in general.

Yeah that does look awesome, shame that Jonathon Nolan doesn't seem to be writing it. Good cast though, Gordon-Levitt and Murphy are generally pretty good.
