I actually figured it was a disturbance call due to the fight he was having with Karen. I think that Mia or her dad would have to press charges against him for them to come arrest him over 3 year old statc charge.

But I dont really know the laws regarding all that well.

I agree to a point. I dl things. If they are good - I will go out and buy whatever I dl'ed. But if it's garbage - I consider that a smart way to filter the shit.

With Californication though - it's just impatience. I can't wait for the seasons to come out on DVD even though I know I will buy them.

and yeah, i think the cops are coming 'cause he beat down the guy. and he has that prior arrest for assualting a cop, so that's why they would come quickly, i guess.

but i have a feeling that only Karen will know about the stat rape. Mia willget Hank the job adapting the novel and Hank will need a lawyer because of the previous assault charge. i also read that the lawyer is only signed on for one or two episodes. so, they might be making her role seem like it is bigger than it actually is.

I don't know how to burn an all regions disc. But I can just send it as avi files.

no, but seriously: nothing. i don't find her to be that exceptionally beautiful or anything. but maybe they didn't want someone that was out-of-the-ball-park stunning, maybe they wanted someone that was pretty, but was not smashing, so they could show that Hank isn't just a big shallow wanker that likes pussy (even though he is, and he does), and that he is really madly in love with Karen.

It hurts the series for me that she is supposed to be this golden idol of Hank's love yet they can't portray her as actually being up to that standard.

No, but seriously - I think she's deliberately portrayed as a very down-to-earth character to show that she balances Hank out. She's a grounding influence for him. No matter what he gets up to, she's there to bring him back down.
And I think she's stunning too, how can anybody say her looks aren't up to scratch?

but i don't see why you're focusing on Karen's bad deeds. look at the Hank. she's nothing in comparison. maybe he's ridiculous action pus her to do somethign fucked up every once in a while. but the Hank is continuously being a retard. i was so annoyed with him this season because shit was good with Karen and he seems to have this "out of sight, out of mind" attitude. like, just because she's in NY doesn't mean you get to fuck three chicks at once. what a dickhead. he was so hard to sympathise with this season, and sure, i was heart broken in the last episode, but only because it was a build up over two seasons of seeing the guy lose. although he has brought most of the shit in his life on himself.

Karen's problem is that she let's hi get away with it all. shrugs it off. no self-respecting woman would ever let their man act that way. that's what pisses me off so much about her--how fucking pathetic she is.

I agree, Matt. If I were in her situation I would have left Hank and I would have never given him another chance. Why would you want to stay with someone who regularly cheats on you? I'm sure some people would say "because they're in love." But how can it be love if your partner doesn't give a shit about your feelings, your well-being or your relationship?

I think in seasion 3 where he is with the other 3 ladys 4 i suppose if you include the one he fell asleep on, Hank and karen are together but have an area code deal going. She had said she slept with bill.... Altho she didn't his reaction wasnt crazy and to dump her but to move on from it. Ofcorse shes going to be pissed at hank for sleeping with 3 other ladys.

Hank and Karen have been together for a better part of a decade. She cheated on him and left but, there was never closure there for him. So of corse he wanted her badly. Thats what is so special about Karen to him. How ever I dont get why she stays with hank. Altho I have a feeling in seasion 4 shits going down hill and the truth will come out. Fucking and Punching will get re named and re released and all charges droped on mister moody. We shall see though.

does anyone else find it amusing how blatantly they are ripping off Brad Pitt with Rob Lowe's character? Rob has the look down, and even the voice. it's like fight-club-era Pitt voice with the latest hobo look he's been rocking. i like it. i wonder if he does.

I thought it was lame that they had met before. Really hokey plot device that they just used on Fringe as well. Other than that, I'm really digging this season.

My exact thoughts when they got to that part: "Oh, how fucking convenient!"

This show is a total man-soap. But I love it.
