It almost seems like the writers are like "what fucked up thing can we throw in this week's episode?"

It aired on Monday, and I quite enjoyed it. I just have an immense hatred of people in their 20's playing 16-year-olds. It would be ok if the actors actually looked 16, but they never do.

You guys almost make me want to watch tv… something I never do. Unless you count spongebob with the older nympho chick’s kid. Or that Unomoshi uyashosha thing. Or maybe Aqua Teen Hunger Spork. You can really tell every Saturday night when they block parties and all up and down the street you hear BASS booming from old cars on 24’s mixed in with all the hummer’s and Mercedes and bmw’s and lexuses. Most of the time, the lower class stay away from the area. We even have our own police car that drives around the three block radius all day. Nothing out here but some new building going up and a golf course. Miles from a convenience store. It’s weird though, completely off-topic, but at night, you can walk up and down the street and it’s like no one lives here, except for Saturday’s, of course. I don’t see a single light on after dark from outside. It’s like being in a suburban ghost town…

oh yeah, and the other day, I broke down because the older nympho chick had to use the computer for her business, and watched The Daily Show. It was a good one. There was this dude interviewing some lawyer from canada and some canadian guy about the mexicans they are shipping up north to fuck the women in canada from across the mexican border so that they can overtake the united states and it was pretty funny. He made a hand gesture like I use for fingerbanging all the holes. The canadian guy didn't get it... her tv's are the best tv's you can buy and huge and awesome and she has satellite tv and everything but I usually only use them to watch one of my movies I own and have already seen in her education of film series I am professor of...

yay this finally started on channel 5 here last night. It seemed like it was trying too hard to be 'shocking' but hey I still liked it.

I've started watching it. I thought the tits and all work well, it doesn't come across as shocking, I mean, with porn and TV and page three newspapers, it's all common sight now to see breasts in the media. David does fantastic in his role. It's hilarious in places, a real funny show to watch. I'm loving it, personally. Sweet and cool and funny in just the right amounts, definitely one to keep watching for me.

I'm not much of a TV guy and I don't have cable, but I recently got the first season of the Sopranos from the library, and wow. Good stuff.

Im after watching the first episode and I thought it was good without being great. I have about 4 more episodes taped but Im not in a hurry to play catch up. I will wtach it but I was expecting more.

So can anyone tell me exactly why they decided to call the character Hank? It could just be an obsession thing but I thought it might have been a small nod and wink at Bukowski. He wasn't the hottest tool in the shed but he got around and drank a lot and HE was a writer and he was a Hank.

So, is a coincidence of minor proportions or are the writers cool enough to be all 'Let's call him Hank like Bukowski! But also make him David Duchovny!!'

I recall whatsherface reading a poetry book of bukowski. In the last episode. I actually have it sitting on my shelf and recall reading a bunch from it and wondered if she had the same thoughts going through it as I did.

season finale airing next week..I suspect cliffhanger, but not sure how ratings have been.

if the show doesn't get picked up again, then i'm pleased with the ending.

It was picked up again in September.

I can't tell whether I liked this show or not. It was kind of annoying!

i particularly love the bukowski reference, as well as this show in its entirety.

Anybody else want to talk about this show? It's my favorite show on TV by far. I just finished the 3rd Season. He really fucked everything up in the finale.

please don't talk to me about season 3, though. i have yet to see it. it was played on tele over here, but it got taken off after a couple of episodes. i guess it wasn't that popular. i didn't see any of the episodes because i refused to watch it week by week and just decided to wait for the dvd set, but i have no idea when that is gonna reach me. so, i'm dying on the inside.

Yeah I don't watch them on tv. So I got really sick of waiting for Season 3 DVD's to come out. I ended up downloading the season and I've watched it twice now. I figure it's ok to download it because I know I'm gonna buy it when it comes out.

This season really doesn't have a strong storyline tying all the episodes together like the first or second one. I mean - they go along but it's not the say. You'll see.

If they release Fucking and Punching do you think it will be released under Hank's name or under Mia's name? I mean - in the second and third season - that book gets way more attention than God Hates Us All ever did.

Inthe third season!? WHAT!? Now you're just teasing, man. I honestly find it very difficult to believe that we're the only two people here so keen on the show. As for F&P I'd assume it would be released as Mia's book but I am yet to see season 3, so I don't know. I kind of hope that Hank gets to get all the credit. I mean, the reviews were great, but honestly, I think hanky-baby's over it.

I'm hoping that when it's released in the U.S it will be all regions, that way I can just get it from amazon, instead of having to wait the months upon months it will take to be released over the pond.

I never miss an episode. I felt like Hank was in defense mode in the season finale. He didn't really mess things up, things just fell apart. Well, he did mess things up but not in the finale, it was everything catching up to him.

I don't want to ruin anything for Odonnell so I'm going to be vague, but you'll know what I'm talking about Big.

Was the episode that took place in his apartment one of the funniest episodes yet? What a fuck story.

The third season seemed to be mostly about back Hank into corners just to see how he'll find a way out.
