Bruce Lee movies
Like most nerds, I'm a huuuge Bruce Lee fan. I just a had a mini-marathon and thought, 'Why isn't there a Bruce Lee thread?' If there is, I'm sorry, but I couldn't find it.
Best Bruce Lee movie, in my opinion, The Big Boss. It had EVERY kung fu movie cliche that made it such an awesome experience, and I mean EVERY cliche, including hilarious dubbing.

It doesn't have Bruce Lee in it, but yes.
Mom's gonna fix it all soon.
yes, you've seen it or yes, you confirm it exists?
Yes, I have seen it and it exists.

I'm a fan of Kung Fu movies in general. Of course I like Bruce Lee, and the Big Boss was ok for it's MST3K value, e.g. cheesiness, but I really liked the movies he choreographed. My favorite is Way of the Dragon. I liked how it portrayed more of the culture in real terms rather than just stereotyping everything out to absurdity. It's a beautiful movie and the choreography is stunning.

Way of the Dragon was cool, but I just found the gangly, hipster mob to be hilarious. The Chuck Norris fight was epic. Really well choreographed.

What's the one that he died while making it? I've heard that Uma Thurman wears the same kinda outfit in Kill Bill vol 1.
an xbf's father (RIP) fought the Bruce Lee himself.
PS~
he was Mexican
Bruce Lee was not mexican.
Game of Death, I believe. He also fights Kareem Abdul Jabbar in that one.

It was Enter the Dragon. He had filmed most of game of death already, but stopped because of the opportunity ETD represented.

Can we move on to either Jeet Kune Do or else over to how great Stephen Chow is? Or all the great movies that were inspired by Lee movies. He basically brought Martial Art movies to America as an art form.
The problem with discussing Lee's movies is that he only made 5 of them. Sure, they were great, but he was so much more than just an actor. His books are still relevant and Jeet Kune Do led the way to MMA, not to mention being a kick ass art unto itself.

yeah but he wore that outfit in game of death didn't he?
captain: Yeah, he did. He finished Enter the Dragon. He never got to finish Game of Death, and actually died after meeting with someone to discuss Game of Death 2, where they later used stock footage to create.
Freemena: Don't forget the show, The Green Hornet, which they're remaking and it looks totally badass.
Yeah, I actually own the Tao of Jeet Kune Do. I've even written a paper on it. His melding of western science and the Chinese boxing style was awesome. A friend of mine says that his greatest contribution, however, was in nutrition. He made some great points. Too bad I can't remember them.

By the way, he's come out in a lot more than 5 movies. They just weren't famous Kung Fu movies. His first lead role was when he was 10 in The Kid.

green hornet looks really good.

Has anyone ever seen a movie called "They Call Me Bruce?" I swear it's a real movie and I saw it once, but I don't know anyone else that's seen it.
