Does anyone have a release date for this yet? I've been told this summer, but judging from the homepage, that's a lie.

I dig it. I can't say I'm as enthusiastic about it as Jane. I thought the first one was pretty good. Not one of the best movies I've seen, but certainly worth seeing multiple times. I loves me a good gun fight.

If i remember correctly (or last time i checked) theyre still negotiating with the studio. So once they start pre-production you can expect a timetable to come out then.

And seeing as how most of you just found out about this (its been known for over half a year now) i might as well tell you now.

I see talk of Spider-Man. Am I the only one who thought this was worse than any movie ever made? Worse then Wes Craven's THEY? Worse than Master of Disguise? Worse than Blood Dolls? Yes, yes, yes.

umm spider-man was good. but not good enough for me to buy

The first half of Spider-man was good. The second half was comic book rip-off. Too bad, really.

It was okay.

But then again, I wasn't into the comics or anything, so I dunno how closely it stuck to it or whatever, nor did I care.

I just wish they had made the bad guy venom or carnage instead. Of course, that would mean even more CG effects... Blah. That was another complaint I had of it - every fuggin shot of spidey he was CG... It was like.. dammit... fuck off with that. You gots ta realize dat dat shit dont fly wit us smart folk.

well disx surprisingly enough, in the comics Green Goblin is pretty bad ass, and more psychotic and just over all fucked up in the head. the movie made him see like a billion-aire whos having a mid-life crisis. im a big comics fan, and over all it stuck to the comics pretty well, but at the same time went off on its own to sort of update it to modern times, and made it a bit more believable and not so "set-up"
yes the cgi was used a lot, but youd also be surprised of all the non-cgi shots. they used silver webbing on his costume, which gave the effect of a shinyness and a fakeness. most of the cgi shots used are indeed a real spidey, just ina green screen. but you havta remember. spidey is more of an aerial fighter. huge landscapes htousands of feet into the air, so its a lot harder to do that in real life without the obvious presence of wires

no. charlie's angels 2 is worse than any movie ever made. yes, i'm gearing up to hate this movie....whatcha gonna do about it?

No. I like Keanu Reeves. I like the supposed "white hat cinema." I love the Star Wars trilogy and Attack of the Clones is my favorite of all five movies.

Yet I still think Spider Man was the worst movie ever made.

yep. most famous for his starring roles (and i think the odd directors chair) on Xena and Hercules. of course he did do Evil Dead series too. but still, theres the whole Xena and hercules history which just mkes me loose respect for him

not at all. theres two raimi brothers. one is officially tied in with the Xena and Hercules series, the other comes by every now and then to star in/direct. now sam raimi, he did spider-man and evil dead movies. im pretty sure hes the one who comes by Xena and Hercules every now and than. his brother is Jockster (hey shut up i useta watch the show back when it was cool, and i was....7)

Fuck off... Sam Raimi made "A Simple Plan", one of the best films in the last five years... and quit saying shit that just isn't true... Sam Raimi PRODUCED those tv shows... he did NOT DIRECT... Raimi also did "The Gift", 'Darkman', 'The Quick & The Dead', and of course 'The Evil Dead stuff... so no... he should not stick with comedy... you are talking out your ass... Boondock Saints was a lowbudget film, not like you said it wasn't, and Sam Raimi did not direct Xena or any of that crap...

And every Star Wars since the original two have sucked ass...
