Best & Worst
What were the best and worst movies you've seen this year?
The best movie I saw this year was Matchstick Men. Nic Cage, Sam Rockwell, and that little girl were great.
The wost was Once Upon a Time in Mexico. That movie was just retarded. A big disapointment since I like Desperado.
Tell me you best and worst...
You will never be famous.

Shit man, your asking me to think back on twelve months of viewing? Christ, that's like 52 weeks viewing 2 to 3 films a week, which is in the region of 156 films a year! I can't think that far back and remember them all! I can't think back to last week without thinking it was last month. I have a serious memory problem when recalling information, hence when I can't remember why I started this post...So I'm just going to stop now...and sit down...maybe take a nap...or have a wank....Wank it is....

Best=Rules of Attraction, Punch Drunk Love tie
(edit: FUCK!!! HOW COULD I FORGET KILL BILL!!! SCRATCH THOSE TWO. WOW. I'M DUMB!!!)
Worst=The Matrix 3

Best = Last Samurai
Worst = Matrix 3
Best: Kill Bill Vol.1
Worst: House of 1000 Corpses
Then again, I might be wrong.
Worst : TERMINATOR 3 (i think thats from this year)
was Matrix 3 really that Bad?
What?
Wow. A lot of people did'nt like matrix 3, but I did. Neither of the sequals were as good as the original but I like 3 better than 2.
I missed Kill Bill. I'll wait until both volumes come out on dvd. They started out as one movie but they added scenes and it became like 3 hours long so they made it into 2 movies.
Does anybody else think that Quentin Tarantino is an asshole for splitting Kill Bill into 2 movies and making us pay twice to see one story?
You will never be famous.
I know some people who are pissed about that.
What?
you know how much credibility they lost with these sequals?
they tried to hard where the story was concerned...the effects were great.
but the story sucked, eh?
What?
imho yeah
The story in 2 wasn't that good, but 3 was better. Not to mention that no movie could live up to the hype they were put up to.
You will never be famous.
it blows when you've got a good movie that they make a crap sequel to like:
Godfather 3
Rocky 2-5
Aliens3 and Ressurection
and Now..... Matrix Revolutions!!!!
What?
rocky 4 kicked ass!
dolf rules
Hey witch Rocky movie is it where Silvester Stalone boxes?
You know the one I'm talking about. He fights that one guy.
You will never be famous.
Rocky 4 was terrible.
"I will crush you."
TERRIBLE. The one where he fights the guy is number 3
What?
New Best: LOTR ROTK
Kill Bill beats ROTK for me, just.
Worst? Erm, I haven't seen anything really atrocious at the cinema this year...actually, yes, I have- How to lose a guy in 10 days...I think that was this year.
best - Tie: Kill Bill Vol. 1 and LOTR: Return of the King
Worst - Tie: Hulk and Matrix Revolutions
Return of the King is a great movie, but in my mind, The Fellowship of the Ring is the best out of the three movies. Good pacing and a great introduction to the story. Two Towers was choppy and too much was cut out, and even though ROTK was 3.5 hours, it seemed like they tried to cram way too much into the movie.
SPOILERS!
I really loved them all, especially the Two Towers, actually. I was so happy that nothing happened to Merry and Pippin...I got really distraught in the end battle scene...
I started reading ROTK last Saturday, stupidly thinking I could finish it by Wednesday (yesterday), but failed miserably.
best: Kill Bill
worst: House of the Dead
best: Kill Bill
worst: dumb and dumberer
i didn't see many movies the last half of the year.
Best: Kill Bill and ROTF
Worst: How to Deal and The Runaway Jury. The latter wasn't that bad, but the deviations from the book (esp. the changing it from cigarettes to guns) made me want to punch holes in the wall.
About Kill Bill though: I don't see why everyone is so pissed that it got split up. Way I look at it, everyone wins. Tarantino gets to have his whole movie/s shown without anything cut out (it wasn't his choice to have it split up, btw, the studio made him), we don't have to sit through a butt-numbing 4 hour movie, and the studio gets more money. It's totally win-win, imo.
There is hope, but not for us.
Couldnt agree more with the KB situation.
This way it further pays homage to b-movies, that never usually went over 90min. Rather than make the audience lose interest through the running time, we get two installments that'll never drag (assumption with vol2).

i'm not pissed about it... i think that it's a good idea, hopefully more people will see it, since there will be two promotion machines. but yea, i think it was his choice, but not his idea. i think the weinstiens told him either cut the movie into two or edit it all down to 2 hours. so yea, he made the right choice.
It gives me something to look forward to for February... I can't wait to see Troy either.
BEST: Kill Bill Vol1 (I know everyone has said this but its true)
WORST: S.W.A.T. and Darkness Falls
oh shit I forgot all about Darkness Falls.
That movie sucked ass.
When they make a movie as shitty as that one, do you think the cast and crew are aware the they're making a crappy movie, or are they just as surprised as the audience?
You will never be famous.
Worst: From Justin to Kelly
I didn't see it but it still made me feel all dirty...
BEST: Kill Bill
WORST: I don't remember. I tend to forget bad movies.

The Borders Of Infinity
Man, this was a fallow year.
Best: The Believer, Gerry, May
Worst: House of 1000 Corpses (one of the worst films ever made), Bruce Almighty, Real Women Have Curves
It's not easy having a good time.
Even smiling makes my face ache.

HAHAHA. Good one... God it sucked. I bet that the people involved with that movie will all have a terrible curse and will periodically die within the next five years. like the cast of Happy Days....
Best: Return of the King, Lost in Translation
Worst: all of Ashton Kutchers movies

Yeah! Fuck Ashton Kutcher! Why is that guy a movie star? It seems like he's just famous for being famous.
You will never be famous.
yeah... but I still want to have sex with Demi
y'know I'm a little disapointed by Bruce Willis. He's sapposed to be this big badass and he just lets some punk-ass kid fuck his ex-wife. If I lost Demi Moore to Ashton Kutcher I would punch him in the back of the head while he is taking a piss at a urinal.
But seriously, I hope Bruce Willis beats the crap out of Ashton.
You will never be famous.
