Best sex scene in a movie
keanu's still pretty fine, though.
and i'd just like to point something out here--if there weren't plugs in the sex scene, everyone here would be decrying its base attempt to appeal to the audience's sexual urges, thereby making it less than "high art" and not worth their time or $7.50.

Wow. This little thread got CRAZY. People telling me to abuse my girlfriend, people showing an alarming lack of respect for women as a whole, people questioning my masculinity in some kind of bizarre machoistic pissing-contest. Hell, I even got called stuffy.
I heard it was that anyway, frankly. One of my friends called it the most gratuitous sex scene he'd ever seen in a film.
There is hope, but not for us.
that scene in the matric made me laugh. and then i spliced this into the movie so you could no longer see his ass because i didn't need to see that.

oh, please, the MOST gratuitous? she should have paused for a moment to consider all the films that have been shat out upon our planet before she called the matrix the most gratuitous.
five more gratuitous sex scenes off the top of my head:
1. brad pitt w/ that chick in "legends of the fall"
2. the famous scene in pulp fiction (as discussed earlier)
3. joaquin phoenix w/ a dead kate winslet in "quills"
4. extra-long sex scene, also w/ brad pitt in "meet joe black", complete with orgasm faces MUCH scarier than keanu's
5. ewan macregor w/ that chick in trainspotting, even.
the list goes on.

Ok, this was far from gratuitous. This was the beginning of Tommy's whole downfall. You might as well just remove the Tommy character if your going to remove the sex scene. At least they didn't drag it out like some other ones.

yeah, but did they really need to show him stripping the condom off at the end and the penis bouncing around? i was trying to prove a point, anyways.

That was just genius acting. Not many could've pulled off a stunt like that. Ok, so maybe that was a little excessive, but it was showing the realism of sex. The stripping of the condom symbolized how he was throwing off the shackles of impotence now that he'd rid his system of drugs. The flacid penis represented his stunned ego at having just been kicked of the bed in which he'd just made sweet passionate love.
this post symbolizes your irrational love of all things trainspotting, and your inability to be objective about it.
plus you said "pulled off." LOL

Kitty, the person who told me they didn't like the sex scene in the Matrix was a guy, so I figured it had to be pretty bad.
It seems like all movies contain sex that is pretty much gratuitous and nothing but. But you know me.
There is hope, but not for us.
well, of course, we all know by now that the matrix movie was bad as a whole, and that anyone who liked it was a total loser. so.
