This has been such a shite year for movies. To be honest I didn't bother to go see many. However, I did enjoy The Skin I Live In, Drive and Tree of Life (sort of).
I don't know whether I should watch The Skin I Live In. The movie gives the impression of being somewhat boring.
The last Harry Potter went well. I don't remember what else I saw this year.

50/50 is good. i wasn't expecting much when i saw it.
harry potpot is also another but from what i remember, the king's speech takes it this year for me.
edit: king's speech is 2010? my world is destroyed now.

Harry Potter and Drive are the only two movies I remember going to the movies to see. I didn't do a lot of movie watching this year, it feels like. I saw a few movies that came about before. But I didn't feel like there were a lot of movies I was really excited to see.
That's okay, Drive made it all worth it.

Of the films released in 2011, I saw the following:
- Gnomeo & Juliet - Passable animated children's film. Not particularly worth seeing again.
- Red Riding Hood - Shit.
- Rio - Better animated children's film.
- Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil - Animated children's film. I fell asleep. Cannot rate beyond that.
- X-Men: First Class - Suck.
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 - A solid entry in the Potter series and a good ending.
- Captain America: The First Avenger - No Iron Man, but a decent super hero action flick.
- Cowboys & Aliens - Decent. Loses its way at the ending.
- Melancholia - Two hours of boredom and then the world ends.
So... Best movies of 2011 from what I saw were Harry Potter and Captain America.
Sad.

I think the only movie I saw (at the movies) last year was Harry Potter.
Mine were, in total; cinema, PPV, TV, cable, whatever. I saw exactly one of those films at the theater - Harry Potter. Weird thing is I was certain I made it to the theater more than once this past year, but if I did, IMDB nor Wikipedia list it as being released this year. Very odd.

You need to see Drive, Tuffy. I'm convinced that'd take the place of either of those movies. Though, you didn't actually see it IN 2011

I feel the same way about Tree of Life...I thought it was a beautiful, visual film but that's all I got out of it. I need to see it again.

I watched many movies in 2011 but i most like Super 8.I watched it first day first show in theater with my friends.It released on 14sep,2011.We really enjoyed to watching this movie.
