Best Drug Related Movie
A Scanner Darkly.
Whats better than a junky Ben Stiller? and another The Boost with James Woods, and Another Day In Paradise
I'm still a fan for Dazed and Confused. Fear and Loathing. Half Baked. etc.
hell yeah, Spun is fucking great!!
i despise movies that pander to average(stereotypical) stoners-the average stoner is stupid-SLC Punk did a good job of accurately portraying the drug culture even though it sprayed shit at the end
cheech and chong did that and i think what they did was brilliant
cheech and chong are brilliant, but they have still shaped and warped young and ignorant minds(pothead=stupid if you are a mooing cow) and we still live in a society that can't free itself from the mundane bullshit-they had a lot of people's attention and it's unfortunate that no effort was made to put a stop to the "drugs are bad, mmm kaaay" mentality that has stunted sociological evolution
then there is the theory that the average potsmoker is stupid just because the average person is stupid
whether they smoke pot or not is irrelevant
i think that preconcieved notions gleaned from our culture have a negative effect on first time users...of anything. we react in a socially acceptable manner, mimicking being high or confused or hungry, even if this isn't how we are being affected by the chemical's reception, absorption.it's different for everyone. if you tell someone that they are being given A without actually giving it to them and they still trip(according to whatever they think that means) then we see that we are trained to respond to any given circumstance.ie: we need air to breathe cuz we think we do and our minds adapt our bodies, etc-anyway, expectations quelch the actual experience and prevent any learning, growing, evolution from taking place, in my opinion.
Duuuuuuude, you're sooo wasted!
dude, this is the tip of the ice berg, believe me, i could talk for hours about these things and so many others-i'm have more depth than i'd care to at this point. i wasn't sure if I should be so frank in my early postings, but eh, why not. i've never even had an intelligent conversation with anyone online til now, so yay for the cult!
now... what has my cat done with my deoderant? i wonder...
What if I mimick socially unacceptable things. Like, sometimes, when I go to the bank; I'll stare at the security guard, and pretend to talk into my arm; and quickly turn away when they look over

you are THE BEST!
Half Baked is my favourite stoner/drug comedy
Fear and Loathing in las Vegas and Trainspotting are tied for me
A Scanner Darkly was dissappointing
Human Traffic was decent, I just remember the line "I'm having a monumental case of "Mr. Floppy"". so good
Layer Cake was terrific i thought, I like it better than say... Snatch and Lock Stock

thats taking it a little far. layer cake was good but definitely not better than snatch.
why aren't there any glue sniffing movies or nyquill addict movies. we have a nyquill head posse at my college. why cant there lyfestyle be glamourized?
and the music would be easy. postal service, coldplay, ect.

that, and he's really pretentios and a pretty mediocre rocker.
i liked the monkeys head, unfortunately
but i think X-the Man with the X-Ray Eyes is the best drug related movie ever, despite its low production values and being somewhat dated. granted, its not Easy Rider dated, but its a little dated. but its not only my favorite drug movie, its my favorite movie. period.
has anyone mentioned the lost weekend? i really want to see this. i'm a ray milland fan.

And then I wonder why in Boise there are no security guards. I've never seen one anyways, and been to lot's of banks here. And then they wonder why so many decide to rob them. Apparently a couple of 16 year old girls even decided to try their hand at robbing a bank with only sunglasses for disguises. That happened in Georgia though
Oh and drug related movies...
Fear and Loathing
Spun
Half Baked
Trainspotting... hands down.
in that case, The Notebook was a good drug movie.
hahaha.... Yeah. Amen dude.
