I love modest mouse but i do understand what the thread starter means, they have such a particular fan base and when they sold out and put one of their songs on a car comercial they lost alot of credibility with the indie rocker fans. So i do give you that one even though i love them.

As far as NIN goes I have no freaking idea why you would think that. Now im not a huge fan of them but still Trent reznor practically created industrial rock and year from now kid will think that they are bad ass all over again.

Now Weezer. Ok Blue album kicked butt, everyone agrees fans, critics, and the like. Pinkerton Great amongs fans (I'm dumb shes a lesbian oh yeah) but everyone else thought it sucked.
Green- a great shot at redemption they rewon all thier old fans back and gained new ones despite the way to poppy songs. That leaves us with Malidroit, ok this was a downer, but give weezer another ten years without putting out anything and they will be cool again.

Ok the dude who said nirvana I have to rip on you. Ok I hate nirvana I think that they suck and that the only reason that they got popular was because kobain killed himself. But I will never argue the fact that they were probably the most influential band of the ninties. One more thing even though i totally dissed them I will give nirvana fans this nevermind is a great album.

And one more band linkin park ok way over played but none the less they already proved me wrong when i said that they would fade after the first cd. And i was wrong they came out with a very solid follow up and all the teenie boppers love it and want to bone chester.

The one band that i do agree with though is limp bizkit. Not because their music suck persay but because fred durst is a freaking retard and pisses off way to many people. And he just wont let up he still thinks that he is cool and really he showed us all what a stupid f$ck he is.
