Awesome Movie Intros
Me and my sis watched Dead Snow a couple of weeks ago (Nazi zombies in the Norwegian mountains) and naturally the conversation turned to James Bond: The Spy Who Loved Me. What an awesome intro. It's Roger Moore, it's 1977, it's totally camp and I don't care...but it's also an awesome stunt and pretty spectacular. And it makes me feel all British.
The Spy Who Loved Me also has one of the best Bond songs: Carly Simon - Nobody Does It Better.
And it's Roger Moore, who is my favourite Bond.
AND it has Jaws in it who I am in love with.
Really this should be my favourite Bond movie but it isn't. (The answer by the way is Live And Let Die).
Anyway, enjoy...
That's a cool clip. I've not really ever seen any James Bond movies. I could never get into it, so I can't really compare the Bonds, but Connery is always a popular one, being the first.
Let me introduce you cats to the "Art of the title sequence" blog.
Not only do they have cool videos and images to browse, they talk to the people who make them.

oh man, I love that Coraline alphabet they have on there.
Nate stole my post, Coraline has one of the best title sequences. It's such a good film one of the best ive ever seen. Definitely the best non-pixar animated film.

That's not an intro, Brandon. As awesome as it is.
Best long shot evar!
As far as starting off with credits rather than an actual scene, Fight Club's gotta be up there.
Lord of War is one of my favorite title sequences.
"A celibate clergy is an especially good idea, because it tends to suppress any hereditary propensity toward fanaticism." -Carl Sagan
"Am I cruel? Probably. Is she an idiot? Yes." -jane s.

Nice. I haven't got chance to look at it properly but I will do when I get time. I did notice they have Kiss Kiss Bang Bang on there which is a pretty nifty intro. Love that movie.
