Avril Lavigne to cover Metallica at tribute

ps. Jane I read that cummings poem today in class with some of his other stuff. It's like the only poetry I've ever liked. Strange.
if you liked that, you should also read "Anyone who lived in a pretty how town" and "somewhere I have never travelled." e.e. cummings was a poetic genius.
There is hope, but not for us.
And also I am seeing all sides of the emo issue now, and it's really fucking bugging me.

"The constant drama that goes on in social circles is unbelievable. It's like the fucking Real World or something."
Definitely. I absolutely agree on that part. It's quite absurd, really.
I have the upmost respect for Avril because she writes her own music.
Many groups, not bands, don't write their own music. Musicians that do write, and play - can't forget about playing their own music - have my respect.
just thought this was good enough to be read again by everyone here
as for the rest of this thread, i don't know, I didn't read it
Its not what you like, its what the consumer likes.
I am the consumer !
I could really care less about Avril LAvigne, she's had her fifteen minutes, if she fails great, if she succeeds great. As for Metallica though, I fuckin hate them. I don't know what it is, but every now and then you come a long a group of celebritys you despise for no apparent reason other than who they are.
Did anyone watch the tribute MTV did for Metallica a while back, all the broads there were cougars past their primes and all the dudes were frickin losers with bitch-tits who only lost their virginity out of pitty sex with their ugly girlfriends.
Fuck you Lars.

I see what your point about my response being sorta hypocritical. I guess my point is everyone goes through shit no matter what, and not enough people my age are realizing how trivial their problems are in the greater scope of things.
The constant drama that goes on in social circles is unbelievable. It's like the fucking Real World or something.
Then again, I might be wrong.
