The second season was released today on DVD. Go pick it up. Now.

Man, Europe's "The Final Countdown" is truly awful, but good for a few laughs.

This show is fantastic. I hadn't seen any episodes of it on tv but kept hearing such great things, so i went out and bought the first season on dvd and ended up watching the entire thing in 2 days. Haven't bought the second season, but i have been watching the third season so far and can't wait for new episodes again tomorrow night.

I discovered this show pretty late but I think it's fantastic. I love how incredibly detailed it all is.

I was laughing all over the place, especially during the first episode...like when a drunken and stumbling Lucille was compared to that runner whose body broke down.

EDIT: And the handlebars in Michael's bed.

I'm still laughing over what MR F stands for.

Anybody else notice during the flashback to what 'pussy' means to the Brtis that the soldier was the actor that plays Buster and that his left hand was bandaged???

Damn, you're right, I forgot about that. So much for the blooper idea.

The first of the new episodes is probably one of the funniest yet. The pussy/fag and T&A gags were my favorites.

I also agree with Rex about the M R F joke.

That whole first show was gold.

And M R F even made me laugh, too.

I laughed for several minutes when tobias and george michael battled each other.

It's not surprising. I read an article a while ago about the creators' concerns of the third season getting cut short, so it's been coming. I just wish Fox would keep consistent with the show's scheduling.

Also, for those who may be concerned: Dan Castelleneta does indeed drop a subtle d'oh-bomb in "Sword of Destiny."

I was just coming to post this news. I'm not surprised, either, but fuck you, FOX.

I still hope they put an abbreviated 3rd season out on dvd.

Arrested Development is one of those shows that I really want to watch, but always end up missing. I saw the first few and thought it was hilarious, but didn't follow through for some reason. But as of late I haven't been watching much TV at all.

I think it's in talks with other networks about being picked up. Which I certainly hope becomes a reality. Best show I've seen in years.

Adult Swim joked about reviving it from Fox (as they did with Futurama and Family Guy) but I doubt it since every show on Adult Swim is animated.

So Fox flushed the final four Arrested Development episodes out tonight, up against the opening ceremony for the Olympics.

Classy move Fox.

I watched the finale at a friend's house last night, and before that, I'd never seen it, but after just those four episodes I was hooked, and watched a bunch of other episodes my friend has recorded. I got all obsessed with it and now it's over. Aw.

But they did say it might be made into a movie, didn't they? Or did they just stick that in to...tease people, and get them all annoyed?

Ah, excellent, I was downloading the episodes each week a day or two after they aired and then suddenly new ones stopped appearing. What the hell is the deal with that? American TV stations seem to stop and start their schedules all the time.

I just watched the last four episodes and now I'm sad. They were good but so rushed, I hate it that it got cancelled halfway through a season. Shame that it's not animated or else it could have renewed after the re-runs on the cartoon network like the other two cancelled american shows that I love.

it's returning to G4 if anyone hasn't mentioned it yet.

It's also on Bravo now in the UK. Consider it a must watch. Though you've got to stick with it, it's kind of alienating to new viewers.

I was very sad, but at the same time happy, when buying it today.

Excited to watch the episodes again, and again, and again, but down in the dumps knowing there's no more new ones to watch.
