arrested development
i'm surprised no one's mentioned this show. hasn't anyone else seen it? it has justin bateman and david cross and some others and it makes me laugh every time. the characters are all great, even the minor ones. i loved it when david cross was in julia louie dreyfus' house to steal some papers for the dad and she's supposed to be blind but she's really not so david cross is sneaking around her and pressing up against walls and spraying himself with perfume and dressing in her clothes so she won't smell him and he's rolling around on the floor and pouncing around like a cat and she smacks his fingers really hard and he mouths a silent scream because he thinks she's blind and doesn't know he's there, but she knows he's there. so funny.
ha, blippies. i'm using that.
um i saw it a few times, whats with that chick with the crazy nipples misplaced all over..is it a lost m&m or am i just seeing things?
that was her only episode (so far, i missed it last week) so who knows? it was pretty disturbing.
Pssst. It's Jason Bateman.
I love this show. It's one of only a few TV shows I watch and it's consistently hilarious. All of the characters are great, but my favorite is the oldest brother "Gob," the sleazy magician. David Cross' Tobias is pretty damn funny, too.
I also think the show has a pretty zippy pace and I like the quick cutaways and how it goes forward and backward in time.

no way. i thought it was justin because his sister is justine and they were twins. i've been wrong before...
if you aren't watching this show, please do us all a favor and kill yourself, because you obviously suck as a human being.
^And how!

Way. And they aren't twins, either. She's older. Man. When you're wrong, you're really wrong.

Oh come now. I saw the first episode and was disappointed. I didn't "laugh my ass off" like I was told I would. Too much hype. And I thought David Cross being in it would've helped it. But in the end, I found the first episode to be so-so.
Jeeziz, lil' NeilFarted. Such a strong endorsement for shit.

well, this confirms it. you are officially lame.
It's "Is Wayne Brady going to have to choke a bitch?" He used himself in the third person.
And Arrested Development is ok. The Rap group was better. AD is the network version of CYE.
"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms." Albert Einstein

A) i know. the whole quote won't fit in the space provided for titles.
CYE is improv. AD is not. both are excellent shows.
I still think Curb and AD are comparable. Both are shot in a documentary type, but AD has more sitcomy plot lines. I do think AD is the best sitcom on network television. I have yet to see the Office but I heard that was fucking hilarious. And when I watched the Gloden Globes their scenes were they only thing that made me laugh

No way is Arrested Development better than Curb your Enthusiasm. Fuck Ron Howard's show.

CYE is great but becomes redundant when he constantly gets himself into tense situations because of one seemingly minute thing he did. Its too perdictable. AD is awesome, a bit odd and quirky but thats what makes it so enjoyable.
great show. funnay
Last night was the opener of the second season of this show and I have to tout it again. If you're not watching this, you damn well should be. It has the best ensemble cast and writing of any show out there. It didn't win an Emmy for best new comedy for nothing.
Did anyone else watch it last night? Best line: "I blue myself."

I may not find it the greatest show on television, but I do find it enjoyable to watch. Buster by far is my favorite character on that show.
Buster is great. I wish he was still dating Lucille 2.

Great premiere. Loved the doctor in this episode too.
I saw my first episode last night, and it was quite an enjoyable surprise, I don't know why I haven't been watching this show before. The previews to next week with Henry Winkler in prison looked pretty damn funny also.
I love Henry Winkler in this, especially when they stick in a fonzie reference here and there.
*bump*
Now that I have tv again, this is one of the few things I turn my tv on for at the moment. I just finished watching two episodes and am looking forward to the third season beginning.
here in detroit at 12:30 at night every weekday they show reruns of arrested development, it filled me with glee when i found out, but then i went to college and no reruns, I AM GLEELESS.
so, yeah, if you're in detroit and don't have the dvd's, it's reliable for rerun goodness.
michael to his mother after being thrown in jail for being seen with his father when it was really job who was seen with his father:
'tell job i have a cold hard cot waiting for him.'
'michael, how could you say that about your brother?'
'what? no, mom, i said COT.'
and did it make anyone else happy that george michael finally got to kiss mabey?
I thought George Michael got the shaft because the Dangerous Cousins protest was drawing more people to see the movie, unless you're talking about when they were protesting Desperate Housewives
no, the house fell into the mud and they fell on top of each other or something and then started kissing and job walked in and it was a funny joke that's too long to explain.
I watched the season premiere tonight. I think this season's going to be very funny and interesting. I'm putting the first season collection at the top of my "to buy" list.
And Desperate Housewives can eat my ass.
I can't wait to see the season premiere!
Oh, I thought it already aired out west. Good thing I didn't put any spoilers in my post.
I can taste the happy
and it doesnt taste like sad
love this show.
Crap i missed this earlier tonight. If I was going to watch a show it was going to be this one once a week....and the daily show.
Check it out, imoscar.com.
And I thought it was, "Taste the happy."
"It tastes just like sad."
This week's episode was a dud compared to last week's. I hope the British bit doesn't suck in the future.
I think i enjoyed the itsy bitsy IRA joke a little too much, but god help me i laughed.
now that i have a job i don't get to watch my show. they stopped showing late night reruns too. fuckers.
i couldnt get into this show
i mean everything ive seen has been pretty good but i think its the narration throughout that bugs me
super dave! oh how i missed you.
I had to work tonight, but I taped it and will watch it tomorrow.

I don't think I've laughed as hard as I did during the analrapist gag.
I'm liking the British involvement more, though. I watched the second episode again a week ago and thought it was better.
Especially when they zoomed in on Tob's business card (ANALRAPIST)...and then on Buster's face when he looked at it.
"No, no, it's pronounced a-nal-ra-pist."
"It wasn't really the pronunciation that bothered me."
And yeah, big S...it was nice to see Super Dave in action again.

I've only seen one episode of this show before and it seemed alright, I really like that chick Portia DeRossi or whatever.
Is this a cool show?
Should I pick up the Deev next time I'm spending all my money on crap?
Would I like it? Why?
Yes to all the questions. Why would you like it? I dunno. It's funny. You can't get that kind of dysfunctionality and laugh at it so much from anything else on tv these days.
Also, Brak, the forget-me-now pills were pretty damn funny, too.
Take this pill and love us again, Michael.
I thought you had a pair.
I just got to say, been a fan since day 1 of this show. It is hands down the dirtiest show out there on broadcast TV, but they do the jokes in such a way it slips by the censors everytime. analrapist...couldn't stop laughing between that and bob loblaw.
In denial....who will clean up all the ravenous debris?
Bob Loblaw is the greatest name ever. The ad for his firm was pretty funny. "Why should you be blamed for a crime that someone else noticed?"
Oh, you will rue the day, baseball!
*shakes fist in air*
That was my reaction, too. Boooo.

I never saw the show. I thought you were gonna talk aboutthe rap group. I like that song they did. It was alright... it kind of like if black people were hippies and followed the grateful dead... like blippies, maybe...
