Any Incubus fans?
Incubus is my all time favorite band. I love all their songs but probably my favorite are the old stuff. Any thoughts?
My Breking Benjamin thread, as full of insight, lyrics, vidoes, contact information and random facts about the band as it was gets no resoponses.
Perhaps I should have gone with:

I prefer old albums, new are boring:sad:

Sorry that you're so upset about your failed thread that you had to mock mine. Keep it simple
I wasn't mocking, love.
Thanks for the advice.

I know you do. I saw them a couple weeks ago. I've always sung along to their songs on the radio, but only ever purchased Saturate, and enjoyed it for the most part. Now I've delved deeper and these guys are really good. Check out the thread.

The second album was pretty good. Everything since then has kind of sucked, in my opinion.

Every single Incubus album is different from every single other Incubus album. The only way you can really tell that they're by the same band (other than some vague resemblence of their own style) is Brandon Boyd's beautiful, amazing voice. That said, I like their newer albums a bit more, and the song "Drive" makes me want to kill people. Thanks, MTV.
I FUCKING LOVE INCUBUS.
That being said, their two most recent albums are mediocre, but everything before that was amazing. Their's not even another band that comes close for me.
My avatar used to be the make yourself cover art for the first few months I was here.

i only have morning view... cracking album.
Which Incubus are we talking about? A while ago I mentioned Incubus on here, meaning the Australian band, and somebody started talking about a death metal band of the same name.
This one I'm pretty sure.

and I doubt any of their stuff can be considered death metal.

Probably these guys.^
I like them. I used to like them more but they remind me too much of an ex that I am not necessarily fond of.

That was the band I was thinking of, and I'm partial to them.
There is a different band with the same name that are death metal.
They're seriously my favorite band ever. If I had to pick one song to listen to for the rest of my life, it would definatly be Aqueous Transmission.

I'm just remembering now how good of an album Fungus Amungus was. I don't think Mike Einziger was nearly as good on any of the other albums. Definatly not ACLTM. He sorta slacked off there.

I loooove Incubus. I like their newer albums a fair amount, but I really prefer their older albums. The lyrics are just so...smooth (and the voice *sigh*).
"Southern Girl" is (of course) one of my favorites, and "Are You In?" reminds me of a particularly enjoyable experience in Vegas with my man (ya there could be a joke in there, I know...but don't go there, kthx)...
when I saw this thread, I was expecting resounding no's all around.

I'm not a fan at all, they've never clicked with me.
Biffy Clyro on the other hand, god, everybody should love that band...

Not necessarily. For a few years the band Bush was called Bush X in Canada because the name Bush was already taken by a pre-existent but unknown Canadian band. Apparently they only had rights to the name in Canada. Maybe it's a similar deal with this Austrailian Incubus?

I agree. Light Grenades is probably my least favorite but I still love all of there music. And they are amazing live. Brandon Boyd has a great voice and I love his drawings too. I want to get their new dvd Look Alive. Have you checked it out by any chance? I'm skeptical because they dont have much of the Make yourself or Morning View
