Hero was kinda boring. I like my Kung-Fu movies with a lot of fighting, not a lot of talking.
The same goes for the movie Cashern, I watched it durring the day and i dozed off TWICE.

I really hope so, because i've been waiting for this movie for ten years.
I hope Kochanski isn't in it, or at least has a smaller part. In my opinion, the series took a (slight) nosedive when she arrived.
Although i suppose they DID bring back Rimmer in the last series, and he more than makes up for her.
Chris Barrie rocks. I hated Kristene K as well. Do you remember there was more than one of them? The only probs with Red Dwarf is the continuity...like the Hollies, although that was sort of explained.
Yeah, i remember the mutliple-Kochanski's, but that was waaay back at the start of the series, and she only had a minor part. Which wasn't so bad i suppose. Its when she became a regular that she began to suck.
I agree about the continuity sometimes going our of whack, but they did resolve a few things at the start of one of the seasons. The guy/girl Hollies like you said, and how Kryten came back.

I used to know all the old episodes off by heart, but I haven't seen most of the ones from the last series.
Yeah, Kryten's great, I think he gets funnier the further the show progresses.
They repeat a lot of the newer episodes all the time, you just need to keep your eye out. There was one on a couple of days ago, the one where they keep messing up the Kennedy assasination. Which is one of my favourites.
I liked the one where they first found Kryten, with those two dead chicks.
I always miss those episodes, it's on a friday night isn't it?
I'm not sure if it has a set-time or not, they seem to use it to fill gaps in the schedule when another series ends...it [I]could[/I] be on fridays, it [I]used[/I] to be a little while ago. Whether it is anymore escapes me at the moment, sorry.

everyone should go see carandiru.. a brazilian film, very similiar in style to city of god, being another brazilian film from a few years ago, but less sensationalized and more of an engaging plot..
as long as you can handle some homoeroticism, sub titles and a whole lot of violence, this film is for you. two thumbs up.

the new "beat" takeshi kitano flick "zatoichi" or something, the blind swordsman remake one. i love me some takeshi kitano.
Takeshi's 'Zatoichi' isn't an upcoming movie, it's already out on dvd (great movie by the way).
