I will see this one just because it's been in development hell for like 14 years. But I still hate Paul WS Anderson, he's a shite director and makes sci-fi poorly. On the upside, he's marrying Mila Jovovich. But she's such a model, he can have her...

I liked her until I heard her talk, she's really self 0involved and not all that bright. I'm sure they'll be great together.

just from reading the hype posts here, and seeing the trailers, i can safely say this is one movie that wont get my 6 bucks even if im dying in the heat

i am a fan of the preditor. what an awesome creature, idea, villian. but big action movies, especially those that are probly mostly action, and skimp on plot and acting just dont do it for me

Yes I agree. But I have been programmed to see all Aliens movies. If only on DVD.

im definitely going to go see it, but i dont hold out much hope that ill like it. the alien movies sucked for the most part, but the predator movies rocked. the thing i dont like is 1: ITS FUCKING PG13!; B- they made the predators all shiny and clean, rather than scrappy and dirty looking; and 3: they show waaaay too much of the aliens in the trailor; the reason the first alien movie was good is because we hardly saw it.

The showed the aliens a lot, but F/X have come a long way from the 70s. It was still kinda violent really. Lot's of deaths and the alien and predator deaths were pretty brutal. Creature deaths arent as big a deal ratingswise as people deathes.

what, are you disappointed you won't be able to see predator's tits or hear the alien use more swear words? What what a harder rating do? PG-13 can show as much violence as it wants. Movies get r-ratings for strong sexuality or sexual perverseness. Not violence, unless it super-excessive gore MAYBE, and even then I doubt any unrated version would be more than some extra action clips with nothing all that great in them... don't believe the "unrated' hype... most unrated versions are just the normal version with a little bit of extra crap that doesn't add anything...

I downloade dit today, I watched about 10 minutes, skipped ahead to the good parts, everytime someone was going to get killed you don'tsee shit, I wanna see blood, I wanna see death, like the good ol' classics, I want to see people get hurt

Saw it today. I liked it but:

I hated the ending.
I hated two predators dying so fast.
I hated the babies crying in the theater.
I hated the chestbuster/predator at the end.
I hated the nobody actually won ending.
I hated the fact that they were in antartica and the girl didn't freeze to death without her jacket.

I'm not going to see it in the theaters, I'll just wait for it on DVD. Even then, I'll probably won't watch it, but I might be desperate to watch a movie. I'll just try to stick with the originals.

I saw it last night and it was awesome, I thought. I was expecting it to suck but I was pleasantly surprised. Also, there was TOTALLY a winner. And the chestburter in the end was cool, in my opinion.

I thought it was okay, two things could have made it better 30 more minutes and a friggin R rating, but that has already been stated so i digress. Scar Predator completely owned those bitches, but they could of at least given Nia Long a ride back to a major continent or something, that and the fact that given a chance Scar would of totally asked for a blowjob if he could speak english. He went out like a tru 2 the game no limit souljah I thought I told ya.

i seen this movie the second day it came out and i despised it

the acting didnt bother me, exept in two spots

1.)the revelation of the reason why the predators are there. so putting acid on an predators face causes a flash back in an italian archaeologist with a bad accent who was never there in the first place.

2.) how everytime someone said they were fine the main character would go on an overly passionate rant about how her dad died in the mountains

other than that it was decent UNTILL!!! predator turned into a pussy and saved the girl,& made weapons for her i hated this so bad i literally punched things in the movie theatre and cursed at the screen i wanted to get up and leave but i had a massive erection(well with a 3cm long penis anything can be considered a massive erection)

the big queen battle was cool though i just wish that predator would have killed that wanker as bitch.

suprisingly good for the guy who made the mortal kombat movies, even though he used some of the same obviously plastic sets

I thought the ending was fucking aweful, the whole queen alien thing sucked ass. One major thing I didn't get the fact that the predators sent out a heat wave thinger every hundred years to attract humans to turn them into alien bitches, but this is the first time in our history that we'd be able to track that sort of heat signature readout shit.
