Don't bother making up lists. I've seen a report on stars in commercials, and the specialist interviewed (he collected commercials from all over the world) said they had all done it, except one (not even for Japan) : Robert Redford.
what bugs me more is hearing great songs on commercials. it completely ruins them for me. like that transplants song on those dumbass shampoo commercials. i'm sure there's more...

Besides sometimes comertials can be funny, even though 90% of the time i feel my life slip away during comertial breaks.
I agree with Buggzero and Klop. Who really cares? Plus, Adrian Brody is hot. I don't mind seeing his face on double decker buses all around London. In fact, it's quite nice.
Oscars aren't worth shit, a couple thousand bucks maybe besides theres a glitch about selling it in that the acadamy has first dibs. Who cares if people do commercials anyway and stop worshipping movie stars.

My favorite sell-out was when they used the Reverend Horton Heat for a car commercial. But they inadequately exploited his material:
"Eat Steak" for the beef industry promotions, including the description of the slaughter.
"Cowboy Love" should be used to sell pickups and blue jeans.
"Bales of Cocaine" could be used by the NFL.
I can't figure out what to sell with "Liquor Beer and Wine" unless the govt. lightens up on advertising of hard spirits on TV.

On the "Ipecac" website (the record label, not the puke stuff) there was a thing about how some foreign country used a "Fantomas" song in a deodorant, I think, commercial. To me, that's awesome. I would love to see more shit like that.
