"i think im drowning. Asphyxiated. i wanna break this spell that you've created. your something beautiful a contradiction. i wanna play the game. i want the friction. You will BE THE DEATH OF ME"
"If we don't take action now, we'll settle for nothing now, and we'll settle for nothing later"
heheh they're pretty big int he Uk and france.
but for rock bands to be big in america it costs alot of money. which is a pitty because like you say they do indeed rock. there new album lives up to all my expectations. there lyrics are like so amazing too.
"If we don't take action now, we'll settle for nothing now, and we'll settle for nothing later"

I used to be a massive Muse fan,but that was when they had only released their first two albums. I saw them live-they're truly amazing.
I saw muse open for the red hot chili peppers awhile ago, went to get their album, and it was only released in the UK. Was this new one released in the US?
I like 'em. So do most of my friends now, thanks to me. Didn't know a new album was out. Rad.
Micro Cuts rocks my socks.
civ67 is that Wayne Coyne in your avatar?

funny meat - if thats the name of the singer from flaming lips, then yes. sorry I don't know his name. On the left is everybodys favorite hella-party guy Andrew W.K.!!!
Shit I was hoping to make this thread...
The album is amazing...Matt Bellamy's voice sounds like both Thom Yorke's and Cedric Bixler-Zavala's at times, and it works surprising well. The album's sound is really something else; it blew me away: synth-heavy at times but it never loses its rock edge. It might be just initial shock, but I could see this release making it big in the States if the radio would just support them a little. The CD lags a little at the end but it doesn't do much to tarnish an otherwise great record.
The single "Time Is Running Out" should give you a good feel of what the CD is going to be like...I'd check out "Apocalypse Please" and "Stockholm Syndrome" as well. Later.
Then again, I might be wrong.
wow first justin, then pink now andrew w.k WAYNE COYNE must truly love everybody
this album will be released tomorrow in the U.S., I will be picking it up, anyone else?
A friend introduced me to Muse's music, and I have to say I am glad he did, wonderful band. Hysteria is a song I adore, especially the guitars in this song.
I'm a big Muse fan. I've been listening to them for a little over 2 years, but I just recently got into them.
I'm getting the US release as well. I'll have to order it online, I think, though.
It is a pretty damn cool album.
I say this despite not owning a legit copy of the album.
I nearly saw them live, had tickets and everything, but my friend (who is REALLY into them) got grounded for stupid reasons and we were generally unable to go.
They are quite big in the UK. I know about 10 people who really like them, including 2 teachers, in a school of 200. That's probably the most popular bit of music in my entire school.
A lot of people love them in Europe, esp. in the UK and France, but they're nobody in the states. Very few people have heard of them. It's real shit.

Damn straight!
Muse is about the most underrated rock band I know of. Mr. Bellamy is about the most talented person out there, as far as new bands go, and yet NOBODY I know has heard of them.
Yes, they rock, and yes, I listen.
