And Marty begged us to put his daughter in the film. Kidding.

Our producer worked were her on a short film and was able to get us a meeting with her. She read and loved the script, she was perfect for the role. The rest is history.

I'm actually sitting in an editing studio in NYC as I type this, into the second week of cutting the film. So we're probably looking at November as far as some sort of screening, sale, festival or distro deal. Too early to say, so retain that piss for now. No need to spoil them panties.

Not to be a jackass, but I think Brad Chroma can do much much better. I think the posters look a bit too bland as of yet, I'm sure they're still sketches though.

Dennis~ I watched the "Camera Test" this morning and was just freaking blown away. That was almost a film unto itself. I can hardly wait to see the trailer, let alone the film--how you tie the three stories together.

Do you have a release date in Cincinnati? Cincinnati being the one city in the country where the art house theater owners edit films for offensive (read: sexual) content. Rephrased, would you like a release date in Cincinnati?

Insert here a lot of idiotic sounding but sincere blathering praise about composition, color, establishing character through composition and color. Use the word "breathtaking" a lot. Damn.

Not at all. These are first-go promo images that Brad whipped up for us. Actually, if the film sells, we unfortunately will probably not even have a say in the poster decision making process. This is why I'm trying to make an impression now, with Brad's work, so that IF the film does sell, they'll want to use him in the marketing.

So it's all about making an impression on the website at this point. But no, nothing's final. Far from it.

I had gotten that impression and like I said and meant with criticism, the ones you have now seem to be too cut and pasty. Like cropped set photo's where the color balance has been changed. I've been a fan of Chroma for a long while and I liked the OUR LADY OF SORROW promo's a helluva lot more than the ABSENCE ones. When I get some time on my hands I'd love to doodle around and see what I can come up with myself and if you guys can use it in any way, well, I'll be flattered and be waiting for Hollywood to come knocking on my door with buckets of champagne.
