A Search For Farley...
Someone yesterday told me about this and I shot water out of my nose laughing at it. I want to know if it's real and out there. It's allegedly on something called The Best of Chris Farley.
He's in a restaurant and drinking coffee when the maitre'd comes up and says to him
"Sir, did you know the coffee you're drinking is really Folger's Instant Coffee?"
Farley says pensively "No...I didn't."
And maitre'd says again "How do you feel about that?"
Farley: "Angry..."
And then he proceeds to beat the snot out of the man with a frying pan.
If this is real, I MUST have it.
Never get so attached to a poem you forget truth that lacks lyricism.
I don't know what I mean, if it's a DVD or VHS or special. I HAVE to find this scene whatever it is.

There *is* a VHS 'Best of Chris Farley' tape available. Dunno if it contains this scene or not, as I've not seen it; do you have any reason to believe that the person who told you this lied?
it sounds vaguely familiar. maybe it's not on the best of. perhaps it's just off of an obscure episode of SNL.
halfway down, it says something akin to coffee drinker, it is apparently on the VHS version like tuffy suggested
I have a Best of Chris Farley tape and that skit is on it. One of my favorites. It's the one tryp linked above.

Actually, it's more like:
"Sir, did you know you're actually drinking Colombian Decaffinated Coffee Crystals?"
Farley: Ha, excuse me?
"You're drinking Colombian Decaffinated Coffee Crystals."
Farley: Look of horror turns into look of anger "Why you sonofabitch. YOU LIED TO ME! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
and then he goes fucking crazy. One of the best Farley skits of all time.
YOU FUCKED THE WORST, NOW FIGHT THE BEST!

See that's not as funny as the pensive "angry..."
But thanks to all, I will purchase this forthwith.

Actually, it's 10 times funnier. The "angry" line comes later when they're interviewing him about how the whole incident made him feel.

Sweet. So long as that's really in there. Awesome. Is this on DVD too? Actually, I guess I should just check Amazon, eh?

I believe it is on DVD also...I'm thinking I saw it in Media Play one time.
And what The Adversary said, it is ten times funnier when you see it. If you snot shot water just hearing about it, plug up for when you see it. Classic Farley.
I found it on Kazaa, it ain't all that funny, I excpected more from Farley.
Oddly enough, without having mentioned it, my little cousin just rented this tape and is currently downstairs laughing his ass off at it.
I just told him that we own it and he seemed very perturbed at having spent $5 for nothing.

One man I cannot stand is Chris Farley. As this is mean, I am glad he is dead.
Damn, that is mean.
"Yousonuva..." in that classic Farley voice...
Nevertheless,
It's interesting why someone doesn't like Chris Farley. Do tell...
He isn't funny. All he does is scream and break things. It got old long before I even heard the name Chris Farley.
Accepted...but strange
How is it strange? I don't know many people who actually think that Chris Farley is funny.
You're actually the only person I've ever heard say that Chris Farley isn't funny...
that's why I thought it was strange.
Oh... interesting. Today, we have both met oppisite sides of a spectrum. Wonderful!
Indeed we do...
But all this Farley talk makes me want to watch Tommy Boy.
It makes me want to vomit.
xchuck, the best of chris farley came out in 1999. you were 9 then.
you saying that is like me saying that bob hope wasn't funny, that his act was old before i heard his name.
good point.
good analogy too.

And when I was 9, I hated immature physacal comedy, which is Chris Farley at his best.
what is good comedy to you?
I very much so like most stand up comedy, like Todd Berry. I find him very funny, I also find random things to be funny, unless they are immature, or trying way too hard to be random.
you obviously didn't understand. if the best of chris farley came out when you were 9, then his act began well before that. he stared in Waynes World in 1992, which would have made you 2 years old.
hell, he began his routine in the late 80s at SNL.
I saw Waynes World when I was a kid(not when I was 2, I was probebly 8 or so), and I thought it was pretty good, especcially the part that was making fun of corperate sponcership. And Chris Farley was crap in both of those films.
He had that rare gift to be able to just make people laugh with his expressions.
Fat Man in a Little Coat. Classic.
Matt Foley Motivational Speaker. Classic.
Singing "Maniac For Love" while being sprayed with a hose. Classic.
"Remember that time...Wow. That was awesome." Classic.
Farley was a comic genious.
Meh, it doesn't matter. You like what you like, I like what I like. People are different, just like crayons.
crayons...
only in crayons--and i suppose women's eyeshadow and lipstick--could they come up with four thousand different names for red.
Hehe, they have "flesh" colored crayons, and their pink.
If your Irish-use "flesh"
If your Indian-use "Indian Red"
If your African-use "burnt amber"
Silly fucking racists.
they have every politically correct shade of everything
FLESH ISN'T POLITICALLY CORRECT!
to someone it is...
but to another someone, they'd form a picket line outside crayola because the usage of "flesh" wasn't tastfully done.
I think Crayola should have a "Flesh and Meat" colored crayons box.
Anyone remember the late 80s SNL sketch where the news mentioned the Aryan Nation's new crayons? Kkkrayola: 15 white crayons in a box.
Never get so attached to a poem you forget truth that lacks lyricism.
late 80s, im so there, not only do i remember that, but another 1980/ SNL related story comes to mind, I guess Ill save that for the Emperor thread.
Your bed is a big soft calculator where my problems multiply, your brain is a garage where i park my bullshit in for free.
Bob Hope is finally dead! Met him, he was an ass.
He should have died in Farleys spot giving us a few more years of a half naked fat dumb guy throwing tantrums and making me laugh at and with him.
And again fuck Bob Hope.

That's not saying much. You don't know many people.

Chris Farley > XChuck.
End of discussion.

never heard of it and i've seen the Best of Chris Farley episode of SNL if that's what you mean.

Wow. This little thread got CRAZY. People telling me to abuse my girlfriend, people showing an alarming lack of respect for women as a whole, people questioning my masculinity in some kind of bizarre machoistic pissing-contest. Hell, I even got called stuffy.
