Maybe this is old news to some of you but early October this band who has taken under their wing the bassist from Marilyn Manson plans to release The Thirteenth Step. First track and I have yet to track down the lyrics is titled Lullaby.

Bring it on Maynard!

They're already playing Weak and Powerless on the radio down here. Not only is Twiggy in the band but also James Iha of the Smashing Pumpkins.

I saw them at Berklee last month. The band looks and sounds great with the new additions.

Can't wait for the album.

I just saw Perfect Circle play the last show of Lollapalooza here in Portland and it was fucking AMAZING! Maynard mentioned that they'll be releasing a new record Sept. 16th and will be touring again for its debut. What a fantastic little man he is

Everything will go smoothly this week, except for the part with the
monkeys and the cream pies.

Twiggy was what kept MM with their old style. Then he left and they came out with Golden Age of Grotesque, which is shit. Oh well. Twiggy is wonderful, and so is MM. And Maynard and James Iha. And the other two people.

A Perfect Circle is an okay band. Tool is an amazing band. As they say in the Spin review, what was the point? Why not include the best of the songs on the new CD as fillers on a new Tool CD? Tool is much better, and similar enough to APC.

I don't like MM for his music, but for him.

Tool is (or should I say was) more raw and dirty. APC is nice and, sometimes, fluffy. It makes me feel good to listen to APC, I can relax. This is kinda excluding Lateralus, cuz some of the songs on that album are very melodic. With Tool, I have to listen to it, give it all my attention. Even though Maynard did all the lyrics for both bands, he is much more emotional in APC, whereas Tool way more cryptic and involving. I also like what Billy Howerdel has done with rock, he kinda twisted it into something more melodic than most are used to hearing.

Indeed. I'm just hoping Weak and Powerless isn't the strongest track on the album.

This CD gets better every fucking time a listen to it, which has been nonstop since I've downloaded it. Hurray for The Nurse Who Loved Me.

I agree. Best song on there. It does a good job of expanding on the Failure version, which was excellent btw, instead of copying it?

Blue is climbing the top for me right along with the outsider...actually these rating don't even matter I find this better than Mer De Mons.
